It is so easy to waste a day!!!

I am not working at the moment so I am on a sick leave. Been on leave for a long time now. Too long that I gotten used to non- productive days. First I got bored by just staying on the computer, chatting with friends or unknown people, yes mylotting and simply surfing the internet or watching movies and tv series. I read before I go to sleep, on the toilet or while taking my breakfast. it takes at least two hours to finish my breakfast when I am so engrossed reading a book.
Now I found myself getting used to this boring way of life. Sleeping late and waking up really late too. Also, a lot of times , I just stay at home until the sun is gone. I would sometimes realize that i haven't done anything the whole day and it has gotten dark already. Then the boring routine repeats itself again.

To cut the boring routine, why not spend some time with friend or stroll in the mall or park for a change. That should liven you up a bit.

It is my friends now who would call me randomly to have coffee with them or dinner so i would just invite them into my place and I would cook a simple dish then we just chat and watch some movies. Aren't they sweet? Sometimes, I would receive, two invitations at a time.
I am really just so impatient now, of not being able to work.

Wow! So you really have great friends to keep you company! That's great!
Just wait till you come back to work.. I am sure you'd feel at lost once again... But do enjoy the rest of your vacation!

Take good care of your health so that you can return to your work already. Staying at home doing nothing can really be boring.

Thank you. I was telling my friend how unproductive I feel. That I am feeling guilty about it but he said that it is just how it is when one is recuperating. He added that I should stop thinking about it and just keep being positive instead. There is nothing wrong to be just relaxed and doing nothing for a time even if it takes a year as long as it means that after which is a full recovered body able to do its full capacity again.:)

I was like that somewhat when I was on maternity leave, except for sleeping in. I got used to not having a steady job and got bored. Once I got back to work though it was easy to fall back into that routine. I love to work though. I need the outside involvement in my life.

Yeah, I am so used to working a lot. My job is very physically demanding that I have been doing even when i was younger. I was studying in college while doing this full time. I would always dream of a very very long break. Now I have it but it is just too much. My friends would invite me all the time to go out but I am just not so motivated to go. My body just needs to be back at work, no matter what work that is as long as I am with other people exchanging ideas with the same goal.

Thats very true my friend.Its easy to waste money and time easily.Many of us waste them and do not use them as and when needed.And i am guilty of same.In fact, i am guilty of this most at this point of time.There are so many things i should achieved by this point of time.Unfortunately, i have not and i am very sad about it.And if i compared my life with others, its tough on me as well. Atleast now, i am putting more things considering the time i am left with ,so that i put things to the best of use.Its not easy.Plus there are so dynamic things happening around us as well.But then i am also putting things and not putting in any routine things.I am adding the spice to life and its helping me at this point of time.Well,when you are sick or down, its better to relax or slow down.Sometimes we all need rest.And rest and relaxing should not be confused with time waste.If we do not take adequate relaxation or rest, we might end up with burn out.That could lead to more issues and wastage of time.So there should be balance between rest and things.Thanks!
