From your own experience ...How did you go about understanding yourself?

By simply doing the things that makes me happy and I see myself doing best all the time. Much more, it is by asking others their point of views on yourself be it negative or positive.

I have come to one point in my life where I had to stop, and be all alone by myself. I wanted to see things clearly and know what I really want and what I really need. I guess, just having that quiet moment with yourself is the best way.

I think the best and the fastest way to know myself is from the feedback of other people. If you act in a correct way, people usually will treat you well and give you what you expected or you will be isolated. Through other people's comments, you can get out where is your problems. If you want to learn yourself from your own experience, you may have to record it for a long time. As it is your own experience, it is hard for yourself to get away your own emotion, so it is hard to make out a fair comment on yourself.

I would change another angle to get to know myself. To find yourself by other people around you and to be honest, they will tell the best of you.Hopefully good for you and every single detail in life shows what's kind of people you are.

If you spend time with yourself you will get know yourself also if you know your likes and dislikes. So the more life experience, the more you observe, the earlier you know yourself. With me this was already at a very young age and also the reason to escape from the miserable life I had, plus saving myself. I found out that being myself is the most important thing for me and it still is. I need nobody to comfort or like me as long as I have me.

Challenge yourself in all aspects of life-physical, mental, emotional, etc., and find your true limit.
