Removing fear and trusting the universe.

When we refuse to act without a safety net, we may be allowing the net to become a trap that creates a barrier between us and the freedom to pursue our goals. Change is inherent in life, so even what we have learned to trust can surprise us at any moment. The answer then is to remove fear from the equation and don’t even worry about what is going on below us, then we can devote our full attention to the dream that awaits us.
We attract support into our lives when we are willing to make those first tentative steps, trusting that the universe will provide exactly what we need. In that process we can decide that whatever comes from our actions is only for our highest and best. It may come in the form of a soft landing, an unexpected rescue or an eye-opening experience gleaned only from the process of falling. So rather than allowing our lives to be dictated by fear of the unknown, or trying to avoid falling, we can appreciate that sometimes we experience life fully when we are willing to trust and fall. And in doing so, we may just find that we have the wings to fly. When we believe that there is a reason for everything that happens, we are stepping out with the safety net of the universe, and we know we will make the best from whatever comes our way. Who agrees?

we do not have a net we need to look at what we do and how we do it as we may not be all good our self

Trust is good, but must be earned. Only a fool will trust all and expect all trust in return. If you trust a criminal minded individual it can be fatal. Trust the universe and you become a headline on the evening news.

lol. i agree. if you climb up to high, the only way is down. you know that and so does the UNIVERSE. you don't test it either. nor do you go around playing with fate. she is a witch.

what you are saying is true, but easier said than done. fear is in us for a reason. it also keeps us safe, as it tells us when there is danger in the mist. fear is not something to be ignored or just totally put aside.

i feel glad to read this discussion. i do not know why. probably the words resonate in what i would like to believe in. i would like to eliminate my own fears in the uncertainties of this world. and i would like to trust the universe to be so kind to me and make my wishes and dreams to happen in my lifetime. there is no other way to see how the world works, but the way we want it to be.

having fear is ok it is what you said " safety net" . why remove the safety net anyway it is protection for pain and trouble in the future. however being in the "safety" net is some kind delimiting ourselves to explore more and learn from experiences. if we are mature enough having built ourselves, know what are our capabilities yes we can go beyond the protection. hmm i hope i make sense here.

I believe that just be grateful and thankful the things that happens into your life. Everything has a purpose. Asked to the universe and it shall be given to you. Forget about the fears. BE carefree and positive always. Think all negative circumstance as it has a positive effect. I know it is a hard but as you practice this lifestyle, You will be just amaze with your life and be happy.

The whole problem is being able to step outside of your comfort zone and step into the unknown, our comfort zone is familiar, warm, like a comfort blanket we hang onto and even the thought of doing something that involves stepping out of our comfort zone can fill us with terror and fear, so unless we can push past that fear and trusting ourselves and others to make a new change in our lives we are never going to move forward. This is a discussion I have with my therapist, I have no goals, no dreams, no aspirations, I am stuck in a rut, to make changes is too much for me still, I live for today, tomorrow is too scary to contemplate. It's a vicious circle.

this is a wonderful discussion. =) well yes i do agree with you and you have indeed shared with us a remarkable observation of what works in the universe, what works in our hearts and our minds. Yes that is true... we do have wings to fly... just have to stretch it out and take the fall. I do love the statement similar that we have got to ignore the risk that sometimes the willingness to take the fall when something has become too risky, may prove to be worth everything.

I agree. Fear limits what we can do by putting worries into our minds that weren't there in the first place. I remember a quote from the Bible about Jesus saying that the birds and other animals are cared for and all the hairs in our head are counted yet we don't realize how lucky we are to be alive. It went something like do not worry about the future as the future will worry on its own.

The thoughts felt around the world. How powerful we are and we never know it. There was an insident that happen to a group of people who were studing an isolated island and there was a group of monkeys on this island. The island experenced a drought and all the monkeys were dying so the people chose to help
them. They had yams that they could throw to the monkeys to save them. They threw these on to the island and they landed in the dirt, well the monkeys stripped the dirt and outside of the yams before they ate them. This wasted a large part of the food. One day the people saw a baby monkey dip his dirty yam in the water and wash the dirt away. Now I may not get the timing just right, but within about 3 weeks all the monkeys on the island were washing all the food they got. Within about a year monkeys all over the world were washing their food. The question is
how did this habit spread throughout monkeydom? Point of story is is monkey can spread throughout the world think what your actions and thoughts do? The facts time wize may not be exact but the story is true.

I completely agree with you on this theory about life and I think that the more we trust in the fact that the universe and life will provide enough for us to survive if we truly try to better ourselves or make big changes. I'm actually getting ready to take that test in the real near future. I'm moving to Washington from Northern Michigan real soon to transfer colleges and I have never lived alone before.
It's going to be a little rocky at first having to find jobs and a good priced house for rent while I live there but I have confidence that everything will work itself out in the end. I think that we all need to have confidence in the fact that things will all fall into place and a lot more of us need to accept that the less we stress about finances and material possessions the more everything just seems to work itself out in the end.
I've definitely noticed over the years that as my money got dangerously low there was always something there to provide me with a little extra cash to help me get by.

Some of fears do come true, however I realized to be successful we should not fear being defeated, losing or failing. Experience is important, testing a situation gives first hand experience and makes you braver each time.

fear is just alive in our mind and till something is active there it apears to our visual world.. the only way to stop fear is just thinking about oposite side of fear. when we think about goods of course bad side disapear.
