Jobs in Odesk

o yeah.. a lot of them are like those... they are not real employers... they just want to get referrals when you sign up on the website through their link

I am also a member in that site and never get any jobs there since I am inactive after I pass the exam. I think to apply for a jobs there to try my luck...

Odesk is a great site, but like others you have to be careful, because you can actually run into people that want to post stuff just to get referrals to a site that they are using. In time those are taken down due to odesk guidelines, but you just have to make sure that you get hired on Odesk. If you work for someone off of Odesk you may find someone that is not legit and they will not pay you for your work at least if you are hired through Odesk you can report them. Odesk always says just work at your own will if you decide to take a job or something off of the site. You just have to be careful, but there are a lot of people looking for helpers. There are some companies on there that are looking for writers and stuff like that. You will find people that have started their own company and need help with SEO and stuff like that. I have worked on Odesk and love it til this day. Good Luck

I am also a member of oDesk since few years. I am also facing this problem. Whatever I apply, either it stays non-answered or gets cancelled after few days. But, before few years back it was working somehow to me. Actually, there are some other online companies which are working like oDesk, I think oDesk is somehow down with other competitors.

Hi Sajujohn I'm not in odesk, but i know little bit about this. It is a good site and it pays in time for their workers. So you don't worry about it. The links you seen is an work allocated by the work providers in odesk. They want to improve their business and for that they need new members to their sites. When the work is completed you will be awarded some cash in your account. Thank you.
