I tend to hate a lot of reality shows but Dual Survival and Survivorman are two of the few that I like. In the original show Cody Lundin and Dave Canterbury are placed in different remote areas of the world and then work together to teach survival skills as they work their way back to civilization. Cody is a guy who lives off the grid and teaches other how to survive using primitive skills. Among other things, he goes everywhere walking barefoot. Dave is a former military survival instructor. In the show, the two use their different skills to try to survive. The don't always agree with each and part of the time they have to resolve their difference. The show has just started a third season and I was surprised to see that Joe Teti, a former special forces Green Beret and recon marine, had replaced Dave. On Youtube I found a posting where Dave explains the change. Apparently, he had exagerated on his resume that he used to get hired for the show. He apologized for that to all his followers and family. I've seen two of the new episodes with Joe in them and it seems like he and Cody have more conflicts that Cody had with Dave. Cody seems visibly upset with some of the things that Joe does worrying that they may not be safe. Do you ever watch this show? I don't know what Dave said in his resume but do you think he should have been fired after being on the show for 2 years?
