I used to do a lot of mystery shopping... i was active in three companies and they used to pay on time... it was very enjoyable because i get a lot of free stuff... eat in nice restaurants... and get updated with the latest laptop or software technology...
But i noticed that payment started getting late... it used to be only for a few days... but weeks or a month late is too much... so i decided to lay low for a couple of months... or just until shop fee and reimbursement payment becomes on time again... good thing i discovered online sites where i can earn a little... but at least the pay is regular... i am working on 1 survey site, 1 ptc, and mylot... so far i made cash out on the survey site twice... and i am awaiting my mylot earning... which will come on the 15th...
Working online is more convenient since i do not need to go out and spend money... but it is also nice to go out from time to time... but until i start working again... i would have to make do with the earnings i am getting from the internet... not too much... but at least it is hard earned...
How do you make money through the internet?...

I used to do online writing - writing articles for websites. It was a good way to make money but it was a lot of work and you had to do it every day. Now I just do small things online and make most of my money tutoring people in math.

I used to tutor too... but i stopped because i need to be at home to take care of my baby... i can't take him with me when it is time to tutor... so the best i can do is earn while at home... like do online jobs and sell ice... not too much money... but at least i am earning...
Thanks for the response...

I started doing mystery shopping several years ago and had issues with low pay, then I found merchandising to be a better option. Still flexible and gets you out the house but with less paperwork and more regular hourly pay. Have you tried merchandising?

Merchandising is basically going into various retail establishments and doing projects as assigned by the company that you work for. The jobs can be as easy as going in and changing a few price stickers on items, changing signage for a product, adding a new product to an existing product line, to being very hard and tedious like resetting entire stores or certain items in the store like cosmetics, sunglasses, etc. The work is usually varied and actually fun which keeps it interesting and most times you work independently. I don't know if you have this type of work in the Phillipines but it has really become popular here in the US.

I encountered merchandisers (part time) when i was working abroad... and i almost became one... there are also those that work like that here... but i think most are full time... i would love to be a part time merchandiser... and be assigned in the mall... that would be a blast...

I have an online job in odesk, the contract is for 6 months or more depending on my performance and to the company who hired me, i make $110 a week which is why i am happy even if it is not that much but the payment is always on time and guaranteed, been with the company for 2 months now. Aside from that, i do mylot and megatypers, still no earning in mylot for this year since i just got back online and in megatypers, i am not putting much effort into it, so no earning yet there.
For now i am more focused in my odesk job because it is my only source of income.

Wow... 110usd is already a lot of money... i signed up for odesk a few months ago... but haven't done anything there just yet... i feel that i might not be able to give my 101% just yet... so i do things that i can commit to... might get serious with the site next month...

I never thought there were really mystery shoppers here in the Philippines. My friend Danielle and I were always wondering if there were any that offered mystery shopping services as she also was curious to try it out.
What survey site are you on though?

There are extensions of international companies here in the Philippines... some companies that do not have a Philippine office communicate through skype and payments are through paypal... you can always do a search on what these companies are and sign up... that is what i did...

Right now... i only do mystery shopping jobs if they call and ask if i can do a specific task... that way... the pay is a little higher... but i really hope they start paying on time... because if they do... i would do any visit in a heartbeat...
