Is it important for us to celebrate the Valentines day at the exact date, on February 14? I don't know if we should celebrate it on the day itself, because not all of the time we could really celebrate it with our love one. When I was still younger and studying I would always ask my girlfriend to have a date on that day or just we should atleast see each other on that day. This would be the first time if I'm correct, we will be celebrating it on the 15th of february because we both have work on that day and she's kinda super busy right now. For me I would be preparing
for the day on what would I will be giving her for valentines. I hope that it will turn out well.
I think you could really celebrate it in any day, month or even every day because of the love we have for them.

I think it is nice that exists a day where all people think about love and romance and are happy about their relationships (or sad, but even more happy next year if the situation will change). But the date is not important.
I celebrate every year on 24 February, at "Dragobete" which is the traditional Romanian love holyday. Sometimes I also celebrate on 14 February, but I'm not very spiritual connected to Valentine's.
I find it sad that people from my country don't take too much in consideration 24 February, a day connected with a really ancient mythology and a lot of traditional customs.

you're right! it is not the day that is important but the thought we have for that day or to any other ordinary day. if you really cant be together and celebrate on 14, a simple sweet call, a mail love letter or a bouquet delivery is something that will be special. after all, we have another 364 days to make our loved ones feel that they are love.
Celebrating Valentines day is just a reminder that we have to express our love everyday of the year, whenever, whatever and to whoever that is. :)

Yeah, you can celebrate on any day as it's all up to you. It's all between you and your girlfriend. What i think is that it should be declared as a holiday on 14th so that the busy can even celebrate it. Have a happy v-day anyday...

valentine's day comes only once a year so I agree we have to celebrate and spend good time with the love one. I talk to my husband about that but He says Love is not only for that day I do not know if he has sense of humar for anything in life accept money and money....hmmm

I think you could celebrate it any time of the year, but it's nice to celebrate around that time because it feels special and specific.

Valentines Day is actually promoting love so I am not really against the celebrating this day, however, we all can celebrate at any day we find it more appropriate or more convenient for us. As for me love should be actually celebration every day so if you would like to make a special celebration of that love you can do it any day and not necessarily on the 14th day of February.
