For the past 6 months, ive connected my online business to my facebook account and surprisingly my customers got doubled in no time. I just post pictures of what i sell, seen it with my friends, and viola! they are buying it. :) I wish I can maintain it so I can say i have done a relevant thing on facebook other than stalking others. haha! :)

My sister use to the same thin with her hand made things. One of her friends decided she wanted a refund because she wanted her money, but she stop being friends with her.Now my sister just ask for money and she gets it. She also goes to work for my mom and barely does anything.

aww, that's sad. Your sister must first set rules and guidelines on buying and refunding to avoid another issue like that of what happened to her and her friend. Not just the relationship was ruined but the trust of one another as soomeone you knew. In this kind of business that the products sold online were only be seen thru web, seller and buyer's trust to the quality of product must be clear and understandable.

a pleasant day gelaytuscano,
what you have done is really a bright idea. you have chosen to maximise the usage of the social networking media. aside from that, you have done a nice move, imagine you were able to generate more sales by promoting your products through facebook. great one my friend.

thanks airasheila! yeah i feel i am blessed that i got the chance to use facebook to earn money, just like were doing here at mylot. selling things is one thing i like to do, and i even more like it when i started my Facebook online store in which i save a lot of money for renting a space for my store plus the convenience if reaching out to my old and new acquired customers. :)
you should try it too. :)

Hahha I stayed on Facebook before because I had someone to stalk. Now I am losing interest in stalking them as there doesn't seem to be anything interesting going on with them anyway. My cousin and I plan to create a Facebook page too once we get our online clothes shop going. Facebook is a good platform for online shops. Best of all, it's free.

hahaha! i know the feeling of stalking. yeah there will be a time that you will get tired and lose interest on that person for long. for now I relevantly checked my facebook update just for the sake of business and the NGO i am part. Doing much nicer and much thoughtful things on facebook is indeed better, specially if you are somehow helping others or earning from it. :)
