Unfortunately the situation that you've described here is something that has happened to far too many people over the course of the last several years. My mother and my sister have both been individuals that have lost their jobs as a result of cut-backs, etc. My mother was only unemployed for about six weeks before she was able to find replacement employment. However for my little sister, the situation has not been as good as she was unemployed for over a year and now she only has a part time job.

Yes, your positive attitude in taking things like this will lead you a long way. Just hang in there and keep moving. Somethings are meant to end. Maybe God has his reasons for this. Happy myLotting! :)

Hi amitjoamon!
Life must go on. You are still lucky because you can still find other job. For the meantime, you can try online earning activities. It is a good thing that you were able to find myLot. This will be a good place for you to start with. You will learn a lot of things from this place.
Have a nice day!

Hi there amitjoamon, How are you doing? I hope that before your company closed down, you were all informed in advance so everyone would be prepared for the closure and find yourselves jobs? At least a month's notice wouldd have been the best way that your company would have given you?
I remember my friend who also had an international company before but they closed it down in the Philippines and just stayed inn their mother company. so what happened was that everyone who worked more than 5 years were given a certain amount according to their year of service... for the employees who were in the company less than 5 years, they were given a fixed amount. all of these the employees knew they are about to shut down and they were given 2 months notice. 1 month is they had to finish all works required, and the 1 month is paid but they were no longer required to come to work so they can find themselves jobs as a replacement.
I wish and pray that you will be able to find a new work, new job. It can be tough but there are many things we can do, and we can keep on doing to move forward. It will all be okay.

i am sorry to hear that you have lost your job. these times are tough economically, and it seems like lots of people are getting laid off of their jobs for the same reason as you. try not to worry to much, and put this time you have to use. find ways to make some extra money, until you find another job. rely on the fact that you were a good worker for your last company, and can use them as a reference. i hope you don't have to be out of work long. good luck to you, my friend.
