She seems to be bored at night

Roamer stays up most of the night, last night I was ready to put her in the bathroom for the night. She usually runs on her wheel in her cage, i wake up throughout the night hearing it going around. I guess she got bored of it, she wanted out to play. Well at 2am I am not in a mood to play. She chewed on her cage for hours, I ended up taking her out for about 15 minutes, then went to bed. She chewed away for a few more hours, I gave her some toilet paper rolls to chew on, and boxes from my crackers but that doesn't entertain her. I was thinking tonight of putting her in the tub to run around.
