I believe that I heard about Tumblr on mylot. I still do not quite understand it and how to best use it. I do not think that you earn money from Tumblr. But what I do get is a lot of page views. it seems like you can post almost anything on Tumblr. I use it to post links to some of my articles on other writing a sites. And I am getting good results.
I think that it is open to the international world. I believe that you can post a link to your website or blog.

I had heard about Tumblr being used by my friend and sister before. I only signed up for it when I joined ExpertsColumn to promote my articles from there. I did get some good page views and I agree that's it's a good site to republish articles to.

I have gotten some good results from Tumblr as far as page views for articles that I have written for other sites. It seems like you can post anything on Tumblr. I have two persons following me and one blogged one of the articles that i posted or re-posted the article. I forget how it was said. I was glad that the person did this. I still do not fully understand what Tumblr is and how it works but it is working for me. I guess that is what matters. It seems to be a site that is held in high regard.

It depends on your view of what a lot is. I am very happy with the views that I get after posting a link on Tumblr. I see a noticeable difference the next day and in days to come.

I write for Yahoo Voices and am extremely happy with the page views that I have received from posting links to my articles on Tumblr. Another good site to promote your writings is Red Gage.

I use Red Gage just as a social bookmarking site. I post links to my writing articles and that is it. I do get some views and I have earned a small amount of money but I am very far from cashing out. Other people use Red Gage to earn money. Some do well on Red Gage. I do not have enough time to give to Red Gage. I find it a little complicated.

Hi Hatley,
It seems that you can post anything on Tumblr, within reason. However, I do not think that you earn money on Tumblr.
You might want to check out Fusion Cash or Swagbucks to make extra money. I am on both sites and love them both.

I am also a newbie on tumblr. It has a very simple interface and user-friendly tools. But I am having hard time attaching HTML codes unlike the "gadgets" in blogspot. But in terms of the community and traffic, I guess tumblr is a good way to go.

Right now, I am using Tumblr mainly for community but more for traffic. I am very pleased with results.

It seems like you can post anything on Tumblr. You can post links to articles which is what I do. You can post pictures. You can write posts on Tumblr. And yes, you can post links to your blog or website. I like the site but I still do not quite understand it.

I am not very tech savvy and very bad at trying to give out instructions. You will have to go to Tumblr, join, and hopefully the instructions might be very clear. I have had no or little trouble posting links to my article. It can not hurt to join Tumblr and you might gain from it.
