Signs of times: Christ's second coming

The unprecedented resignation of Pope Benedict XVI had surprised the Christian world. Prophecies of St. Malachy about the end of times was centered on who will be the last popes in history before His second coming. His predictions were concise, and his prophecy that the 111th pope's term (Pope Benedict XVI, our present pope) will be of short duration, is true. If you'll notice, the world had gone so mad. Killing/shooting sprees are so rampant. Sinful activities,are just, becoming normal in our society. The word "God" seems to be taken away from our vocabularies and what's worst from our lives as well. God won't allow these things to go on and on. So how can we be truly prepared, if we are really to face our Creator soon?

Yes. It says in the Bible that only God the Father knows. His coming will be like the thief that will just break in your house unexpectedly. Only those who are prepared and awake will be save. I don't know but I'm having strange feelings. Thanks anyway

i would not worry to much about it when the time comes our work shall be done and we will goto the kingdom in the heavens

Honestly speaking, I'm not that yet prepared. But I turned to God often especially when I feel scared or doubtful. I know I must still do something. I pray that we'll all soon find our mission in this world and act on it before it's too late. God bless you too.

Like blackrusty stated no one knows when his return will be. And to be honest I am somewhat afraid when that day comes

Um.. just to point this out. That prophecy is easily self-fulfilling.
It was a prophecy that I am sure many in the Vatican who work with the pope and are allowed access to the scrolls read.
I mean they could have very easily read it and then as the catholic church picks the pope, they could have then chosen a pope who was elderly and most likely to have health problems so the person would most likely resign during his term and it would be short.
Logically speaking, that could very easily have been what happened. Why put so much blind faith into something so easily arranged?

Well, that could be possible. They may have that "sort of arrangements" but then things are becoming alarming. What's happening in the news, and in our environment are becoming much frightening. Hopefully, there's still much time for us to be prepared if we'll be seeing Christ soon face to face. Thanks.
