I MISS YOU

These are just three ‘simple’ words, it takes just one second to read but it takes 3 minutes to think who said that and 3 hours to understand why someone said this?
It may take 3 days to demonstrate, 3 weeks to explain and whole life to prove that someone really missed you or you really missed him/her.
Please respond and share your valued opinion and comments.

Thanks in advance. Professor Dr. B.Saraf. PhD.
‘HAPPY VALENTINE DAY IN ADVANCE’
Cheers have a lucky day ahead.

I do think that many people don't take the time to really think about why it might be that someone would tell you that they miss you. However, it is something that has a lot of meaning overall.
I have a couple of friends that I am very close to and when I don't have the opportunity to see them on a regular basis, I really do find that I miss them. I miss the conversation that we are able to have with each other and I also miss their crazy antics.

You got my brain cells working!
But I think that it is really true that when you miss a person it passes through several stages before you could really comprehend or can validate that feeling.
Most often than not, some would just find it hard to tell it to their loved one for fear of being rejected. But it is such a wonderful feeling, really if someone misses you.

If one really misses he/she should say this, not just formally.

'I miss you' has become a clich.People,I feel, pronounce these words almost automatically whether they mean it or not. It's just like 'Thank you.'If you thank someone for doing something for you, then it depends on on what he or she has done for you and you really needed it or not.For example,if you are tired and travelling by a bus packed beyond its capacity and someone offers his seat to you,you may feel thankful to him and then saying 'thank you' is a true expression of your thankfulness to him or her,but what about if you thank someone just for giving you some ordinary information, your saying 'thank you' may be meaningless.Same is the case about saying 'I miss you.'You want to say him you do not feel well, because he is not with you.But who other than you knows whether you really mean what you say.A clich uttered only for the sake of showing you are civilized. This is my own experience.

hello there Prof.
oh well, i have my own story about that word miss you. well, i have this one batchmate in high school before that had a crush on me, as he said. we met once more but not personally, just in the facebook. he confided me everything and all but for some heavy reasons; each feelings are being suppressed for we cannot afford to hurt anyone's feelings like our partners may seems. and then, he always telling me that he misses me. he works outside the country and still we are like friends and like that. so when he said he missed me, i will not say a word because i am afraid he will take my word with with different meaning and that will lead to compromises. we often chat but i guess we both knew our limits that it has to stop there. so thanks for bringing this topic :)

I have known some people who no longer give weight to these three words. I will give an example, I used to have a roommate when I was working abroad. She's got a boyfriend that was left back home. Everyday she would tell him that she misses him, but the truth is she is happily going out with other guys. And whenever her current boyfriend in that country would call her, she would always say that she misses him. Because it is so simple and easy to say, lots of people would just say it and get it over with. But to the other person, it is a big deal. It is enough for them to re-affirm that he is indeed loved. That they have a good thing going on. It's sad, but true story.

Hi Prof ! Those a 3 magic words ! It is powerful and it came from deep down which you can never explain how is that thing , why and where it came from . Some people don't take them 3 hours to understand it but i guess whole life they can never understand it or they refused to understand it or just having a stone heart . What ever they felt , they are entitled for that but me when ever i missed someone he would be the luckiest because i will keep on telling him that i really missed him without any hypocrisy or pretensions.

When I see your photo I just remember my father and how much I miss him. I did not get that much chance to be with him in life because I used to hear about his high temper nature daily from my mom and that was the reason I was not talking to my father anytime in my life. I always was quiet and even when he wanted to talk to me I was not replying him. Now that I grew up and I think about those moments I feel that I really miss my father and How good was if I could share about things with my father then maybe I was not in this situation of life that now I am.
I wish only but those times never be back to me. It has gone and I really miss my parents.
