Do you believe we have only one religion and that is love and humanity?

if talk about religion I think people will feel uncomfortable, so I think all religion in world as good as the followers even each of us believe we only have one religion so do I. all religion is harmoniest to everyone all have love and humanity so no reason for make comparison, people live with hold on their religion

Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. -James 1:27 I think love and humanity are not qualified to be considered as a religion. Love is an emotion, and humanity are the ones who established religion.

Dear friend, I feel religion is created by people when they created God. But I could see those who practice and follow those main religions it leads to one aim that is to be near to God or to do want God wants. Hence religion is a path that shows how humans have to live their life and how they be in the society. But at times it is taken into negative aspects that negative side is most projected. A real person who follows religion would never what a fight they want peace and harmony. I feel those regilious people would forget such aspects mostly.

i have always narrated this favourite metaphor of mine ever since i read about it many years ago that, my take of religion and belief in GOD..Some may know it, about the elephant in a dark room and 5 blind men who have never seen an elephant before and don't know what it looks like.so each of them one by one goes into the room and asked to use their touch to feel the elephant and then describe to others what the animal looks like to them.1st one in feels the trunk so he will say , elephnt is like a huge snake, 2nd one feels the leg and then he says" you are wrong" elephant is like a tree but 3rd one who felt the ears will also disagree, both of you are wrong, animal is like a big Fan ,the guy who felt the tail, guess what, all of you are wrong, elephant is like a small rope like reptile. and as for the one who felt the stomach,all of you ,so wrong..elephant is a huge balloon like animal. but each one just had a small part of the whole picture and their pride will not allow them to piece all the versions together, because if they do so, then they will have the complete picture of what the elephant really looks like, to me it is like the major religions of the world, every one insist their way to God is the only right way and everyone else got it wrong when the truth is that all of hem has only a small part of the real truth but if they put pride aside and combine their knowledge of God, they may just have the whole picture .all major religious paths in the world lead to only one truth.

I believe this more than anything, people tend to get caught up in religion and generally miss the point that they are trying to say. The fundamental point of religion is to help get you to be a better person and be kind, sharing, caring etc. Although there is another side to religion which is that it does cause a lot of wars to happen, in the middle east, even here in ireland. We had civil war over catholic and protestant religions. Which really are not even all that different. If people listen to the initial message that religion means, then it's all good.

i believe there are many religions and every one believes there church is the right one but at all maybe that but they come to one true god one person

Hi extremefun4fun, I have often said that the only real religion is the way live our lives. The golden rule is found in all the major religions of the world and if we would live that way, nothing else would be required. It would end all war and bring peace to the earth. It would also end hunger, homelessness and other problems that plague mankind. Blessings.

Religions are there because each of us have our own interpretation of God's word in the Bible. For me to say that there is one right religion would be to disrespect other's own interpretation of their sacred personal experience with God. Most religions involve some sort of sacred revelation. There was this one saying about masters and followers. It said if all creator of religions and masters would be in one room they would be harmoniously mingling with each other, whereas if the followers of the masters or the religions would be in one room, they would not agree with each other.

Religion is a creation of mankind. Religion is mankind's attempt to understand God. How are they doing??? OK!OK! Lots of work still needed. This world is about the education of God's children. You are right. God is teaching all His children to Love Unconditionally. Some,like yourself caught on quicker than so many others. Yes, we will just have to keep pointing the way.
