The New Commander of the Troops in Afghanistan Started Shipping

Equipment back to the states yesterday...50 crates were loaded out. What will happen there after our troops leave?
We made a promise to the women of Afghanistan that we would help them get and maintain humane treatment...We did not do that, they still live in a cultural hell. 
The whole war was supposed to be about the Taliban, and Al-Qaeda...It was actually, we have been funding them and supporting them very well. They will miss us when we are gone. Of course we will leave them with lots of arms and artillery equipment...
This is a tribal nation as is every moslem nation...We have done nothing to help them enter the 21st century. It is ludicrous to expect them to live peacefully as "brothers" when the US leaves...They will simply go back to killing each other because they do not like the other tribes interpretation on muhammed and islam...

It's sad and I'm sorry for the women, but I'm sorry for women in Arabia and in Egypt and in Syria and in Iran among other places.
While all that you say is true, we cannot police them forever. They have had a lot of time to make changes and they haven't really done so. We are a poor crutch for people like that. We simply can't make them be what we think they should be.

The US has not successfully finished a war since WWII...It was also the last war that was fought for a viable reason. Now the government is ripping apart all the efforts of the soldiers who fought in the Great War...We are now dominated by socialistic propaganda and our economy has been destroyed.
As far as koranderthals go...they are a tribal people and see no reason for changing their way of life...You cannot turn a tribe into a democracy. You cannot teach them capitalism or teach them to coexist with other forms of leadership. They are stuck in the 8th century and are determined to stay there and drag everyone else there too or kill them...
