Daily i used to take tea twice a day.
my family members also takes sometimes 2-3 times per day.
Luckily children are far away from tea since years.
My common question is that will it help to our body?...
If so, then in what way?....
How many times shall i take tea per day?....
Are there any complaints on this excess tea-having?....
At present i am facing problem with my teeth as they getting ruined gradually.
Is there any bad effect by continuing tea drinking daily?...
What is the best substitute to tea for mind stimulation?...

How much tea? It depends on what kind of tea you are talking about. There is green tea, black tea, white tea etc. Those are teas from the tea plant and contain caffeine. So if you are drinking tea at night it should be decaf tea. Other teas are herbal teas such as hibiscus, camomile, fennel, mint, lemon balm and many more. Those teas can be drunk as much as you like. I take camomile tea at night when I cannot sleep. I take thyme tea when I have a cold, fennel tea when I have a stomach ache, mint lemonbalm and hibiscus teas for refreshment and enjoyment, hot in winter, ice cold and slightly sweetened in summer. Teeth do not get ruined by tea, although black tea will stain them. If you suffer from tooth decay sugar is the likely culprit. Try unsweatened tea with a bit of lemon and a drop of honey.

Tea has been used as herbal medicine in the past, so it has a function to help recover our body and get rid of toxicity.
But some people are sensitive to the teas, they will stay awake all night after drinking tea. Also it is said that tea will burden the adsorption of Ca, which is the basic element of our bones.
So drinking tea is good for health, but avoiding drinking too much.

I remember my friend used to point out that it's because of drinking tea more than 5 times a day that the Chinese tea drinkers have yellowish teeth. I am not sure about that though. I take tea twice a day, I like to have it before going to sleep and an hour after eating lunch.

There shouldn't really be too many side effects from drinking tea as long as you space out throughout the day. The only side effect I could see from drinking tea would maybe be a little restlessness if your sensitive to caffeine or having to urinate a lot because tea is a diuretic.
I'm currently reading a book by an older naturopathic doctor named Jethro Kloss. In the book he talks about different herbal preparations and how to utilize their benefits. In it he says that we can drink tea up to four times a day but after that it becomes a little excessive. The health benefits and how they help you all vary with what kind of herbs you are using for your tea. You can find pretty much any herb and it's benefits online if you are curious or are looking for a specific kind of herb to help you with a specific health problem you may be having.

Here in England I drink many cups of tea a day, maybe as much as 8 cups, I understand that tea is an anti-carcinogenic, it helps prevents cancer. I do not think drinking tea is harmful
Here is my method for the perfect cup of tea, from the English tea ceremony or afternoon tea, as we call it.
The Method
Firstly empty the kettle and clean it of any scale.
Let the tap run and fill the kettle from fast running water.
Pour a little of the boiling water into the teapot to warm it then discard
To the teapot, ceramic not metal, add one teaspoon of good tea, such as English Breakfast Blend to the pot for each cup and one additional measure.
When the water has boiled pour into the pot from a height to ensure maximum aeration.
Stir and cover the pot with a cosy, leave for 3 to 5 minutes.
The room.
Ensure you have a quiet room, with perhaps a slow ticking clock (Less than one tick a second) and birdsong.
Arrange the curtains or blinds so that the room is darkish but if possible with some sunlight filtering through.
Whilst you are waiting for the tea to brew you will begin to relax and unwind.
Enjoying the tea.
Serve the tea on a tray with a small jug of cold milk, heating milk changes its flavour. Also you will need some cups, saucers and tea spoons. The teaspoons are important even if, like me, you don't take sugar since they produce the correct noise against the cup and saucer. Pour the tea on from a height to ensure maximum aeration and add just a little milk and sugar if desired but only a very small amount.
Beginners may take some 'McVities Rich tea biscuits or Digestives, a cucumber sandwich but should avoid items such as scones that may be enjoyed by those proficient in the art.
You may talk about the weather but conversation should have long pauses for reflection.
If done correctly this will produce perfect relaxation and clarity of mind.
all the best, urban

drinking tea will stain your teeth, but won't hurt them permanently - unless you load it up with sugar...
Generally tea is brewed so that there is less in a cup of tea than a cup of coffee, and unless you are drinking 10 or more cups a day you probably nave nothing to worry about.
I've certainly drunk more than that, when I was younger.
I've been drinking a Crystal Light product called Focus, and generally get about 120 mg a day from it. That's only about what is in one cup of tea.
My roommate's have been decaffeinating me for the last few years, but I'm holding out as long as my blood pressure is still good.

I don't observe of any noticeable side effect of drinking tea more than 2 time a day in my past three decade, i still aged like other people as time go by, contracting diseases and get sick as usual, teeth will also decay just like people who never drank tea in their entire life, i want to believe it has no side effect except occasional stomachache if i drink too many cups in a day.

I don't think there would be problems aside for frequenting the bathroom. But there are teas that are mixed with some medicine that you'd rather not intake. Unless if it's so, I don't think there are consequences in over-dosage. The natural teas that I intake usually would end up discharged in a short period of time without experiencing problems.

There had been reports that consuming more than 1 cup of tea a day can lead to certain medical issues such as kidney disorder, incontinence, increase in premenstrual syndrome, due to caffeine the respiratory and cardiac muscle also get stimulated leading to coronary arteries which gets diluted as a result increases into the rate of blood flow. The fastening of respiration lowers the carbon dioxide level and may also lead to insomnia.
Might as well take only at least a cup a day to stay away from those issues mentioned above.

taking tea twice or thrice a day is ok but its not good more than 3 cup a day, i was a tea addict a couple of months ago and clearly observed its side effects. It reduces normal appetite, also destroys many essential, delicate nutrients from body like vitamins etc. resulting dull skin, ill digestive system, constipation and all other consequences related with these problems. It also affects memory. Dry fruits like almonds and walnuts are known for brain health, you can keep a box of dry fruits on your work-desk like me :)

I have also always had lots of tea throughout the day and it doesn't seem to have many negative effects. Of course, if you have lots of sugars in your tea, there may be a problem regarding sugar intake but there are alternatives to sugar. I would say that it is probably better for you to drink tea than coffee as coffee contains more caffine.

I don't think a lot of tea will help or hurt your body. I'm usually a coffee drinker but do have a couple of cups of tea a day. I don't really believe it's a mind stimulation but it does have some caffeine in it that won't hurt you.

i also heard the tea destroys your teeth. i guess everything in moderation doesn't hurt as long as you don't over do it. maybe if you cut back on tea to once a day. if you take herbs, take the rest of your doses in capsule form.

There are so many different kinds of tea so I would think some would be better for you than others. For example not all tea contains caffeine and while a modearte amount of caffeine is ok, a lot probably is not.
I like to go on moderation in all things..and I would call a 3 or 4 times a day ok...again, depending on the tea.
