I am about halfway through this book from George R. R. Martin, called
A Game Of Thrones: A Song of Ice and Fire. I am really enjoying this book.
It is from the Medevil times with castles and kings. I really wanted a book
that is similar to Lord of the Rings. This is the first book by this author.
It was a little slow in the beginning but it is really getting good.
Has you read any books by this author?

The whole series for those books is great. Martin is a genius. The TV series is amazing too. It stays true to the book and the actors and sets are beyond amazing. You should watch it!

Wow thanks for the response. I am going to finish the book series and the watch the tv series. I am almost done with the first book. Can you remember if the name of the series is the same as the book, so it will be easy for me to find?

Is that book by any chance the one turned into a tv series? I'm not very familiar with tv series because I'm not that fond of waiting for each episodes to be aired...however I do find some shows to be interesting, although I never got the chance to see them. If it's that interesting I might read that book... I kind of like books with that genre after all..
and to answer your question, I'm sorry but I haven't read any book written by him... this is my first time knowing of George R. R. Martin after all.

I am not sure about a TV series, but I will have to check that out. I would love to watch this in a tv series. Like I said it is really slow in the beginning, but I am wanting to keep reading even after its bedtime. I read alot of reviews on Audible.com before pruchasing it.
I guess I should say I have been listening to it instead of reading it, since I have a 40 minute commute to work most of the week. Thanks for the response. Happy Valentines Day.

I'm not really sure if there's a tv series of that book...It's just that I think it sounds really familiar to me...somehow...
Audio books huh...that should really be cool..I've never tried any of it, well..I don't have a spare money to purchase one anyway...maybe in the future I get to try it. Happy Valentine's to you too. :D
