In olden days there was no such high rates for education in our locality.
But now a days the charges of education are going higher and higher towards sky, why?..
And also it became very easy way to get fake certificates in this society only by paying certain money for that without doing any related study....
The government authorities are not taking sufficient action for this illegal things in some secret areas...
Then where is the value of study for education at all while all of certificates are availing very easily by paying money?...
What are your opinions about study situations in your area?...
And what about the charges are they demanding for child education by schools and colleges?....

I recently went out with a friend of mine, who's son is in high debt because of his college fees, he feels helpless because he can't help his son out. Unless you get a highly paid job to be able to afford to pay back the loans etc, after all you have to live, and eat! I can't understand why students are allowed to get into so much debt, what hope do they have of getting out of it, and then affording a place of their own. I was lucky in that I left school as soon as I could, earnt enough money to put me through college, I was a mature student, but I didn't need any loan or get into debt for giving up my job and starting a new college course.

The value of education far outweighs the cost of ignorance. I'm not saying those who don't to college are less intelligent than those who do, however, if you want to better your life then education is the best way. Changing your status in life will give you more opportunities, college is expensive because its called higher education for a reason.

I live in pretty much what I would consider to be a college town. The reason that I consider the city that I live in to be a college town is because of the fact that there is both a major public university in our city and there is also a highly accredited private institution in our city as well.
That said, I think that the kind of higher education that a person chooses really should be something that is based on what they are able to afford. There are affordable options out there, you just have to be realistic about your expectations.

Well the standard of education is also rising, as teaching methods become more and more advanced schools need more money for things like equipment and maintenance is starting to cost more too because of rising prices of normal things like energy to keep machines and lighting working. Everything is connected in some way so inflation works its magic. Also, governments might be providing less funding year on year which would also mean that students need to pay more.

That is also upset me because as the tuition fee got higher and higher the education is worse every year. Student being graduated with no knowledge at all. There is no complete facilities in the school that student should used for laboratory and more lacking with the curriculum.
After the student graduated from college, there is no jobs to be found or not meet the requirement of the company. Because the company need people have an experience of five to ten years. How can that fresh graduate have an experience? This must be the problem that the government needs to see and make a solution with this problem.

Indeed education has skyrocketed in comparison to the days of old. Even preparatory school has become so expensive.
Though, you have a choice to send your child to a public school, where you will only give some meager contributions every now and then.

That is my sentiments. The education is becoming more expensive especially in college thus making less parents to enter their child in college. But here in my country, you cant have a good, stable and decent job if you are not going not enter college. My eldest son will be graduating in higschool this school year and I hope I will have the means to support him in his schooling. Community or state college miscellaneous and tuition fee is so unreasonable for me. Scholarship requires certain average to be qulified while financial aids that I found is more of politics.. :(

In our place, we can still avail of a free primary and secondary education. Most especially the primary education because this is where the foundation starts.
Although there are private schools in some areas, still the government would see to it to have government schools as much as possible. Actually, as of this time, there were 3,000 new openings for teachers in our province alone which means that more students will be served.
Private schools may charge higher fees for tuition but the people can always have the option. If education if expensive, then we can also try ignorance to know the difference.
Have a nice day!

Not only education but medical, travel and even food and other essential things for life..survival is getting more and more tough day by day :( thats all indicates we are getting more selfish, more materialistic, more greedy. Our leaders are the main cause of all this, they are only busy in filling their pockets. Most of governmnt's policies and schemes are made in favor of industrialists and businessmen, a few schemes are made for the poor but they dont get its benefits because of corruption. results are much more serious than we can imagine, difference between the poor and the rich is getting wider and wider, common people are frustrate, angry, increasing crime rates are clear indications..but all this doesn't matters for our selfish politicians :(

Everything is high now. Maybe some of the administration of schools have problems in their payrolls for the teachers and staffs and some equipments to be added and for maintenance too. That is why they raise the tuition fee. However there is certain percentage allowed for raising tuition fee and they must adhere to that rules.

I think expenses and costs in every sector including education is getting higher year by year if not day by day. There are some valid reasons too.If you consider the fact that the salaries of the employees in educational sector needs to be given raises year by year and then the cost of maintenance of things in institution, then there is shortage of money. Alongwith this educational institution needs to progress either in research or checking with books, seminars and conferences. There are so many hidden costs that needs to be covered. But then i also agree that there are certain costs and certain institutions which artificially blow up costs.I agree fake certificates are available, but then whats the point of living with fake certificate. One day or other, it would be caught and you would be living rest of life as a culprit.Even if its tough, earning a certificate honestly and genuine would help rest of all.To afford certain costs, its nice to go for scholarships which are given at local and global scale.Study situations in my area has all pros and cons. There are big charges but then still affordable. But unfortunately there is no cap on certain things in education sector. Thanks!

In the past, few people can get good education, but education is a way for people change their social status. Taking the income into consider, education is more expensive than now.'
In present time, education divided, one part become cheaper, as you can have class on the net for free and more and more people can learn by themselves to get some certification. On the other part, it become more expensive, the fee for a good university goes up year by year, a lot of family can not afford their children go to Harvord and so on.
Now is a period of public education, so in some degree, it is hard to divide people by their education background, so someone think out to improve the fee for receiving a education.

May be it is because some people in the position of power don't want the poor and indigents to receive education especially tertiary education. Making education a commercial product and more expensive day by day, week by week , month by month or year by year, will make the dream of getting an education including the tertiaty education hard to realize and achieve among the poor and indigents, so that they can never be able to crawl out of the ever deepening abysm of poverty in their life and the vicious cycle of hopelesness and desperation.
As you know, on this increasing knowledge dependent globalized world they live right now, without the necessary knowledge and skill provided by formal educational institutions, they will never be able to compete on the same level with those children who live in privilege life and well off since the day of their birth. A poor child will remain poor and so his children and grand children down the road if he/she is not able to get an education when it is becoming expensive day by day.

Yup, it's all about the business. Back in those days when parents just send the children to public schools because they believe that the quality of education there is good, even if they can afford to send the kids to private schools. But that was before. Today there are so many schools who charge high tuition fees because they take advantage of the many parents who choose the best schools for their children. They don't trust the governments school anymore. They'd rather work hard and invest their money on their children's education.

Tuition fees are ever increasing annually. And it is apparently intended for the reconstruction/rehabilitation of existing building or for construction of a new building or for the improvement of facilities. If these are really followed yearly, then I can understand. But I know that in some schools, eve up to this day, their system has not adopted computerization.
As for the certificated that can be bought, well, it is clearly fooling oneself. If for example, a company accepts a person presenting them with good credentials and a certicate/diploma but the person really wan't able to study the course, then what to do you think will happen? He could not perform the duties that is expected from him because he lacks knowledge and skills.

well that's how life goes. if you like to invest in your child's education spend a little for their tuition.. just too bad.... yes, here in Thailand everything is free, even the lunch of the students and teachers. Unless the parents are willing to enroll their children to private school
