It just opened a lot of applications simultaneously without me doing anything. I tried to close them all but it would not respond to my touch. I tried to restart it but it won't even turn off. So i have no other options than just to wait for the tablet to stop running programs simultaneously. After waiting for few minutes then it stopped and immediately restarted the tablet. Now it'd working normally again. Its just very new so I'm not expecting this would kind of problem early-

If your are using Android Tablets that is their problem many times since they are not good in managing your RAM. I noticed that you should constantly be watching your task running and stop some apps that loads itself every now and then even if you are not using it. There are many apps that manages this to manage your memory better.

Well I have an Ipad at home and a cellphone that runs on Android so I can pretty well see that Ipads are more stable than my Android Phone. I have to constantly watch the memory of my Android Phone so that it would not hang on me. While in Ipad I seldom experience crashing or hanging.

I'm surprised and at the same time disappointed to know about that. Anyway it is something i can manage and get used to. Still android tablet is a good tablet despite that.

Yeah there's crashing and problems on my tablet but thankfully it doesn't affect my download as when i get it started again the download would where it stopped last time because of hanging or crashing.

If that happen again.. All you have to do is reset your tablet by tap and hold both home screen and lock screen(on/off button.) for 10-20 seconds, after holding your tablet begins reset automatically.

Ah.. Nexus 7 is a different
You can reset it just by holding down the power button for several seconds. Continue to hold down the power button until The screen blinks off and the boot logo appears?

i think that tablets are so small you have to be careful about trying to do the same things with it as you would a laptop or computer.

I have the Samsung Glaxy Tablet and the only weird thing it does, is while I am playing a game, the display will dim and I can't see what i am doing. i don't know why it does that in use, as it isn't supposed to do that, only when I am not using it. Other than that, it works great, and easy to carry around, so I use it when I am doing other things on my computer, or I will take it to my bedroom at night sometimes, and play on it when I can't sleep. sometimes I think that touch screens can react differently than what they are supposed to do, and in that case, i just power mine off, and leave it for a bit, and then it works better. Not sure that is the proper way to do things. but it works for me. Take care,a nd have a great day.

I think your tablet is a good brand . i think the dimming problem is just common among different kinds of tablet so it's not actually a defect but it's just part of the settings on the display. But I'm sure if you keep hitting the screen that the screen would get back to is brightness

Your Tablet might have low RAM or some applications eating most processing data, try to remove applications which eats up then check it works or not. or try to install task killer this may help you. I had same problem with weather application after uninstalling my tablet worked little better.
