Will you settle for a one night love affair just to have a date this valentine

I am just curious to know about the thoughts of some men or ladies about this question. Will you settle for this arrangement just to be able to celebrate valentines and not just sulk in one corner while your friend is busy dating and enjoying the company of his\her partner during this day! Then the following day you can call it quits... anyway it has already served its purpose... uuummm... what

I also think it is not to go for one day love affair.

hehe well we can celebrate valentines in different way, not just with hook up, i am not in relationship so I think is easy for me to go out with friends that ask me out for dinner, and normally it's not going far just a dinner

you would be surprised how many people do hooks up on this day only to have fails the next day afterward. there are people who are that desperate out there. instead, they should be celebrating with the loved ones they DO have in their lives, like friends and family.

It's a peer pressure or from the society to have a partner on this day and have s..x in the end.. it does not matter if it becomes a failure the next day...

No not at all. Only desperate people will do something like that. For one to celebrate valentine it does not necessarily mean that one has to have a one night love affair. There are much more to it. Life is full of surprises and who knows? Next year you might get lucky and have a valentine in the end. No need to rush it.

I think it is good to go for long-term relationships than to go for one day dating. I think love is more important in life than one day relationships.

Yes this is my point to many people end up with STD's and to me it is just to much of a risk and I just and i wont risk my life over it

Nope, I have been alone on Valentine's, and I found things to do, I don't need a man to be happy, and I certainly wouldn't do a hook up for one night just so I wasn't alone on a hugely commercialized holiday.

of course not. that is so desperate for me. a valentine's date will be sweeter celebrating it with a true loved one, not with someone you barely know.

Not at all! If I didn't have a hubby the day would pass like any other day for me. It wouldn't get me sad if I didn't have a man in my life. I really don't care much about Valentines day. For me Valentines day is everyday with my hubby. I don't need a special day for him to show me his love, because he shows me that he loves me everyday of the year. I think its all for the flowershops, candy industry and jewelry industry to make money especially that they raise the prices on everything at this time of the year. I told my hubby "not to waste money on Valentines day." He said "are you sure?" I said, "YES, I mean it!"

Valentine"s Day is the one day out of the year that we set aside for love. If our Valentine's Day is only a one night love affair then we defeat our purpose. This should be a celebration of love throughout the year. One night love affairs to havea date for Valentine"s Day akes away from the spirit of the day.

Some people are okay with this idea. For me, it's a big no no. If I was single I would definitely not, even if I end up being a spinster. No way. I'd stick to my values.

TOTALLY NO! Valentines is not just about love with a partner, it can also be love with friends and family. If ever I wont have a date this VALENTINES, it's just fine. Maybe, I can just stay home cook some food with my mom and do a marathon romantic comedy movies. =)
