Year ago, I was about to meet a friend, after an hour of waiting she said that she cant make it. She said sorry. But I remembered she have this over and over and over. This time I quit our friendship. I ignored her message of sorry. I deleted without reading. I just don't feel any friendship anymore. Too cold of me. Am I that unreasonable?

This is your way, perhaps you were not that close to have allowed her to explain why she could not make it. the thing was that she made you wait after an hour before you knew that she won't be showing up already, right? I guess you do have the right to be feeling this way. But are you really not interested to hear out the explanation, she is after all still a friend. =(

I hope you really don't have to end the friendship. You may, however take some sort of break from it. Just enough for your friend to miss you or appreciate you or to realize what she's missing without you. She might have a very good explanation for doing this to you. Otherwise, I guess you did the right thing.

Personally, you could have been misjudging or reading something else into this. I would have never gone this far, unless I had reason to suspect something like this. I actually think unless you totally feel this is for the best, your best thing would be offering them a second chance.

Once is ok but being flaky more than twice is not good. Being flaky when it comes to meetups only shows that you don't value other people's time. If it happens more than twice with a friend I would lose trust in them.

I do not think so, you have right and reason to what to do or not. in my idea better to be alone but not with somebody who we are not comfote enough.
