My daughter and I went looking for a pink wig that she needs for her cosplay competition. But we visited all the store already but to no avail.
So we decided to buy a white wig and just have it dyed. We bought hair dye and started coloring the hair upon reaching home. We leave it for almost three hours in order for the color to stick on the hair. After three hours, I rinse the wig with water and what happened? The color goes with the water leaving the wig to its original color. I was so frustrated!
I went to the market to buy an ordinary dye that I heard people are using to color abaca (Manila Hemp) products. I tried it at once and was successful somehow. The hair was dyed together with my hands, he he.
Now my problem is how to remove the stain from my hands. I came to the office with my hands full of stain. But at least I am happy because of my achievment.
Have a nice day everyone!

I liked your spirit of not giving up.I too am a bit like you! You can search for something in the market that will help you get rid of the colour on your hands. Your daughter must be very happy now.

Hi allknowing!
Yes she really is happy. Actually, I was not able to watch her during the event because I had an appointment for a meeting today. I tried to come home early but the program was already finished when I reached their school.
Anyway, I know that she is happy because she had lots of stories when she got home.
Thank you for sharing!

I am so glad that you finally got the wig dyed. I sure hope you figure out how to get the dye off your hands. I do not have any ideals how to get the dye off your hands. Good luck on getting it off your hands.

Hi sharla!
Yes I was so happy because this is the first time I tried to do something which is beyond my skill. As of now I was able to get off the dye out of my hands already.
Thank you for sharing!

Ah, the things we do for our kids eh. I am sure your daughter was grateful and over the moon with her wig, sometimes kids don't realize the sacrifices their parents make for them, mind you their happiness can speak volumes and it's all worth it in the end. Hope you get the dye off my friend!

Hi friend!
Every time our children got into a difficult situation, we as mothers are always on the rescue. That is why every time my daughter had similar problems or so, she will just shrugged a shoulder and say, "Well, I have a supermom, she knows what to do."
Is that so?

That sounds like fun. I have never tried coloring a wig before. I'm sure if your office mates saw your stained hands and related to them what you did, they would marvel at your labor of love.

Hi joliefille!
Yes they know about it. Some of my office mates are also mothers so more or less they know how it is to be a mother. We share the same stories, he he. the happiness of our children cannot be equaled with any amount of wealth.

Yes has no choice, he he.
Actually, I am thinking about business ventures regarding these things. What if I started this kind of business in our place because as of now I can't find any store concentrating on this particular thing. Considering the fact that cosplay is getting more and more popular each day. That is aside from the fact that this is my daughter's interest.

She is Sakura Haruno, a ninja from the show Naruto.
She got a pink hair and it's a sad thing that we don't have store which specializes on things related to cosplay. She really is happy.
Oh, well mother will always be mother.

Hello ARIES!
That was nice. It lovely that you and your daughter when to do something together, only few parents does that. My Daddy aslo does it sometimes, so I really know what it feels like. As for the Dye stain on your hand; removing the stain will be determined by the type of dye. I will better tell you to go back to were you bought the dye and ask for a dye remover. Take Care...

Hi friend!
Actually, I tried brushing it with the brush I used on the laundry. With my nails I tried to use nail pusher so the color was lifted already.
My daughter is so happy even though I was not able to attend the event because I had to go to work.
Thank you for sharing and happy valentines day! Got a date already?
