hi to all well, I want to join Pakistani Forces, ofcourse as they promise, Free Food, Free education, Free Residence, Free education of your kids, free medical for you & family free 2000/3000 sq yards land & $400,000 after retirement, depends what's your rank, but when I see their recruitment process??? its not what I think, do you think its a nice job??? but recruitment & training is extremely difficult here, you have to jump from 10,000 feet, have to live in small place for months, have to woke up when they asks, have to die when enemy attacks you, my question is simple??? can you take this kind of job at a price of your life??? for me I think so, have a nice day...

I dont think i can. It sounds like a waste of my life. Why should i subject myself to suffer if i can experience more of what life can offer me? Life is a gift, and we only live once. I'd rather make the most out of it,

I didnt think it had that much benefits to be a soldier though. Wow. So thats how much every citizen in the world is paying in their taxes so that their sons can die in war. It breaks my heart seeing it that way.

Well that depends on the person's perspective about being a soldier. It has a big resposibility and it has a purpose. If this is what you desire then go for it. Soldiers are considered heroes in one country.

That's very true, the only reason for you to agree to it is if it is exactly what you want. If being a soldier is exactly what your heart wants.

If defense of your country is important to you, you should be able to take the rigors that are a part of military life.

I think that people who join the army have always wanted to be part of it since they were kids. They no longer think of the dangers that goes with the job but the honor that they can bring to their family as well as to the country.

if that is the offer for me i think i will think to the life of my family and not in my life,i will accept the offer as long as my family will have a better living, but if that will only do for one time only because if that will offer for many times and everyday think i will think twice for that too.

Hello Tushavi! These are different from where I live and where you live but either way I would say no. A big fat no. Everything you described sounds nice and would help out families a lot but to me it is still like a big bribe to get you to work for them. I hate war and this is way it annoys me more! Long story short, no, I wouldn't take it! Happy MyLotting. ~AussieGal~

Thats good offer. I think when you work in the armed forces you have the option to retire early after completion of certain years. Only the early years of training is tough and once you have gone through that training, life won't be that tough anymore.

Tushavi...its good to join army. Not that I would want you to die or any of us here to do so. Army also helps people in times of floods, earthquakes, and other calamities. Its not the package ...its the discipline it brings with it that is good. And though you are from an enemy nation, I wish you live long. :) And I wish there are no wars between us, because we are friends out here, right? Take care. :)

Good day Tushavi, With regard to your post, well, if I will be placed in a situation like the one you have sighted, perhaps I will think it thoroughly. Hence, their conditions are quite mind-numbing.

It does sound like a good job with good benefits but as you say you could be potentially be paying a higher price. Personally I wouldn't do it I would rather do a nice safer job and potentially earn more money the choice is yours but you also have to think of your family and what would happen if you get killed or injured so think carefully. Just because a company offer good money that doesnt always mean that its a good job today

I think yes, if that is your want and mission in life and if that is your passion. I know a lot of soldiers who are really not after the free food, free medication, free residence but their will to protect and serve the country.

This job is not for your own benifits but for your children, family and countrymen. You have to sacrifice yourself to give them free benifits, if your thinking only about this for yourself, don't do it, you will have no courage, will and reason to continue for this. This job is brave people who give themselves in order for others to survive..this is how I think about soldiers.

I think it depends on your beliefs, whether you believe in what you're fighting for, or protecting. Personally I don't even believe in fighting. I know a 'need' to fight has been created by some people, and it's very sad. I don't know, I just think when will it all end? I wouldn't risk my life in that way. You either die, or somebody else does. What is the point of it all? If my motivation were free food, free medical etc... no I would 100% not do it. If I believed in the cause, if I thought I was doing the right thing... perhaps then yes I would.

I most certainly wouldn't. I would much rather work for all those "free" things and earn the money I need to pay for them rather than risk my life and condemn myself uncomfortable living conditions. Life is about being able to do what you want and enjoying the freedom you have been given. I wouldn't want to give that up just make sure that I have been taken care of by someone else. I'd much rather do that myself and rely on myself.
