Then bring exact amount. If you have cash use cash and avoid using credit card.

make a list and stick to it while shopping its ok to see what maybe on sale write it down if after your lists are done and you have a few dollars to spend then you can go back to get it but also to think of do i really need it will i truly use it can i live with out it

that's some great idea about finish you list thing first then buy others thing on sale, well about money of course we also bring a money more then we want to spent lolz but we also buy thing without think clearly if we really need it but I will try to minimize my shopaholic

Make a list, have a budget and stick to it. It would be even helpful if you can place a price beside each item for an even more struck budget list of your groceries. That way you will not overspend and you will be discouraged to make any exceptions in your list as you can actually see the amount of money being spent.

For sure, I am laugh when reading your discussion. Why? Because I was in a retail management concentration of business administration major that learned how to attract customers to buy many things in one off shopping. If you are shopping in a supermarket of similar kind of store, of course you will be tempted to buy other unplanned goods. If you want to buy only goods that you've planned to buy before without buying other goods, you have to resist your buying urge.
