I was told by my doctor that for health reasons i need to lose weight. Now i don't need to lose much but i do need to lose. I was wondering if there is any such thing as the best diet or the easiest diet out there. Iv'e tried Slim fast but that doesn't keep me from being hungry and after the diet is over when you start eating food again like meals a day you just gain the weight right back. Diet pills can be dangerous and some make me feel sick so i don't think that's too good an idea. I have tried exercise and eating right but that takes so long for me to lose weight. So what do you think is the best safest and fastest or easiest way to lose weight?

In my opinion, the 'best' diet is one that you can follow the rest of your life and contains all the healthy elements we already know about. While losing weight it's mostly portion control then one can add back some calories once the ideal weight is reached.
I like Weight Watchers guidelines because they follow healthy eating habits one can follow after the losing weight part of the 'diet'
Now, having said that and of course we all know all that, when I have to lose a few pounds I do go to an extreme in cutting back, increasing exercises and putting up with hunger...but one can't maintain that for long. Still it helps now and then for a kick start to lose or keep losing. I go to an extreme, then I go back to more normal eating but not overeting.
I have heard some people fast once a week to maintain their weight but I don't have that kind of willpower.

I think just eating healthily and exercising is the best way to lose weight. If your weightloss has been very slow in the past when you tried that method, to be honest you were probably doing something wrong... or you merely just don't have much to lose. The less you have to lose, the slower it will be. A 600lb man will lose more weight, quicker, than a 200lb man doing the same thing.
There is a website called myfitnesspal where you can keep a track of what you eat every day. It takes into account your weight, height etc, and your weightloss goals, and tells you how many calories you need per day to lose the weight. It's really useful, but it does take a bit of effort to have to type in your food every day so I never bothered sticking with it (I was using it because I needed to eat MORE, due to a fitness program I was on, so it wasn't too important really).
Basically, limit your calories a bit and don't over eat. I think that is the easiest way to lose weight. Oh, and make sure you have regular meals. If you're skipping meals it does something to your metabolism and will see you gaining weight, too.
If you're interested in exercising as well (you probably should, haha) then a lot of home exercise programs (like beachbody) come with a food and exercise guide, which takes the hard work of research out of it for you.

Sounds weird but it is true about the saying, breakfast like a king, dinner like a prince, and supper like a pauper, meaning have a good breakfast to set you up for the dinner, a moderate dinner and for supper something very light. They also say to avoid eating heavily after 8pm. Snack on fruit. I believe in moderation, cutting out things you enjoy like chocolate is a mistake, you will only binge. Treat yourself once or twice a week, or if you can have one or two cubes of chocolate a day. I find diets don't work for me and I rely heavily on exercise, I go to the gym 3 times a week and work out for 90 minutes which keeps my weight at an even keel. They also say losing 2lb a week is the healthiest way of losing weight, and fast ways are not recommended, the quicker you lose it the quicker you put it on. I wish you every success and I hope what I have said has been of some help.

Weight has been something that I've unfortunately struggled with throughout the entire course of my life. For me, I find that the thing that has worked the best to lose weight is for me to moderate my diet and increase my exercise. I do realize that this is something that does take some time. However, by moderating as opposed to excluding from your diet, you aren't as likely to go wild on those foods that you had eliminated from your diet after you have reached your weight goals.

Hello ! the safest way to lose weight is by eating less Carbohydrates in your diet or if you can no Carbohydrates at all . Eat plenty of fruits , vegetables and more water . Also have a regular exercise everyday , at least 30 mins per day . Avoid food rich in fats and sugar. It so easy this and that but so hard to follow ,so the most important thing is for one to have self discipline . If one just having it , then goal to lose weight so easy then.

I think eating with normal portion is a best way. Reducing your appetite can lose your weight. Besides that, you can consume natural supplements such as acai berry herbal for lose weight. It is a very popular fruit in the USA that can lose weight effectively. Do sport regularly such as jogging and swimming. Don't consume chemical made weight loss pill, because it can harm your health.

Losing weight can be hard as I have had problems with my weight for a long time. It goes up and then it goes down. I can never reach a happy medium, but I am starting to lose little by little. I think the best way to lose wieght is to eat smaller portions, and I have just found that out, as I am eating smaller portions and not eating seconds, and it seems to be helping. I also make sure I have all my fruits and veggies each day, which has helped me too. I take a drink of leafy greens and fruits every morning, and it does help me to feel better. Just hang in there and you will lose the weight you need to lose. Take care, and have a very good day.

The best way is to learn how to control your appetite, lead a very healthy lifestyle such as eating the right amount of food and the right kind of food as well as incorporate it with rigorous workouts. That should help you retain a very good and healthy body.
