i divided a piece of bread into two parts so that i could give it to my two nephews when i suddenly saw a piece of hair inside the bread. just imagine king arthur's sword stuck in the rock. it really was like that. i then threw it away. it really is disgusting. the hair was standing perpendicular to the surface of the part where i divided the bread. which means the hair is already there while they are still molding the bread.
we bought the bread in the bakery nearest us but i'll swear i'll never buy anything they sell that is not sealed even if i have to go to another bakery farther to our house.

yes this is wrong hair nets should be worn at all times when handling any kind of food but even with hair nets things can happen it could have been airborne for all we know and landed in the dough and gone un notice but again sorry you had to go though that

the workers in the bakery don't really use hairnets. one of our neighbor even said she one found a kinky hair in the bread that she bought in the said shop. i bet you know where it came from.

actually we know the owner of the store. i guess it would be better to just address her directly than file a complaint. it would be troublesome.

That is disgusting. I too have done the same if I found a hair in anything that is consumable I would not go back there to purchase a thing. It hasn't happened recently only to my brother in his food but a couple weeks ago.

You should have brought the piece of bread back to the bakery where you bought and asked for a refund. I do think it is their carelessness. If that happened to me, I am sure to report it to DTI and to the Sanitary Department. I mean, there could be other things lodged on those bread and it may compromise the health of the people who eat them.

I think that you should still let them know what happened. we should not tolerate people to be doing this. Even if you wouldn't be buying from that bakery again, atleast they'll know that somebody really knows the carelessness they had.

somebody addressed them this issue before. but nothing changed so i guess it's time to give up on the store.

i don't really care about the refund. anyways, the price of the bread is not really high. my concern is with the safety of the customers. i didn't report it tot he proper authorities though.

i still never encounter this that there is a hair strand in the bread,i think the one who made that bread was a long hair person and he fell down s strand of his hair in the bread while they massage it,but if you encounter it very seldom them for me its fine.

Yuck, I hate hairs in the food, that's disgusting.I don't remember when was the last time when I found a hair in my meal, I hope it won't happen in the near future.I feel for you on this.I wonder if they accept returns? For example, if I bring that bread and show that hair that is baked in, would they give me another bread for free?

That is gross and disgusting and you are right to never trust that bakery again. You should go to the bakery and show them the bread with the hair in it and let them know it was baked into the bread. I went to a sandwich shop once and they made my sandwich without wearing gloves so i just left without my sandwich because that is disgusting.

i would feel insulted if they do that in front of me. according to some of our neighbors, the bakers in the said store do not use any equipment that would cover prevent their hair from falling

OMG I just had a flashback from when I was much younger. My dad brought a chocolate cake from the bakery. When he cut the first piece there was hair throughout the piece of cake. Then he started cutting more slices and it was filled with hair thoughout the whole cake. I mean it was unbelievble and disgusting. I don't remember if he returned the cake to show them or not. I wish I could remember. I do know we never brought anything again from that bakery. I would have taken that bread back to the bakery to show them.

you can even file a complaint against them if you wanted. it really is appalling. i can just imagine you disappointment when you saw the hair. you're so excited to eat the cake with you family and then you'd see hair? that's really gross.

Yikes I agree..disgusting..gives me the creeps. I think maybe you might want to tell the bakery about it..I don't know if it would help but perhaps their bakers are not all wearing hair nets?? I know what you mean in not trusting that bakery again...

Hi
That's really bad. But many of the things which we buy these days are not so good. I mean not 100% of good quality .Many scams going on . I dont understand why people dont maintain the standards . Its compulsory for foods. I even had this experience with some of the eatables. I never went back to the shop again.

maybe the owners become complacent about the patronage of their products that's why they become relaxed that they tend to supervise the quality control of their shops.

Ugh, that's gross. I can't blame you for throwing the said bread away. Goodness knows where that hair came from. I also hate finding hair in my food. Maybe the baker should wear a hairnet or tie their hair to avoid something like this to happen again.

That's one thing no one ever wants to see in their food items. This is clear irresponsibility and carelessness from the bakery. I know you will switch to another bakery now but you should complain them about this incident. May be they will increase their quality standard in the future.

there have been complaints before about the sanitation of their place. my cousin even saw cockroaches on the area where they prepare the ingredients.
