Do you plan your best shots?

I don't. Actually, my best shots are always accidental. I mean, I clicked a lot to record things that I found interesting and just experiment with the lighting or the speed & aperture combination.
I tried planning my shots but I don't usually get what I want to capture. I wish I can really become a good photographer.
Any tips?

I just aim and shoot and my camera does the rest. Most of the images that I capture are in good shape, including video clips.

That's good. It could be a real talent. But for people like me, I really need to exert effort to learn it.
You have a very nice gift. Thanks for sharing.

If you have a good camera then it is cake walk. I cannot take the credit, really!

Being humble. A photographer once told me, "it's not the kind of camera but it's with the one who uses it."

You have to plan your shot but you may not plan the results. I take lots of sports action photos and I plan where I am going to stand and what I am looking. What I don't know is what the action will be but I will be ready. You do the same thing you plan how you are going to shoot or what you are going to shoot. You have to plan some shots if you want certain tings in the photo. For example if you want to get the silhouette of a house at sunset then you have to decide your angles and timing. Keep taking lots of Photos and enjoy it.

Thank you very much for your input. Those are really nice suggestions. I'll try to think more and plan how my works would come out. I think I also need to study more some techniques in photography. I'll continue reading and watching videos on it.
Have a great day!!!

When I take photos at sporting event I plan that I have to go there of course :-) Then I'd normally plan for example which fence and how to get the light right etc.
Some times I go out to take picturs of certain subjects but I rarely plan lighting etc before I come there, as you never know what the weather's like here anyway. Other times I just plan that I want to take pictures, go for walk somewhere and see what I can find.
