Haiiii to all my dear friends.. One of my friend's sister is in love with a classmate. No one know that if that is a good relationship. My friends is decent. As a sister, she advised her sister. She is in 10th standard now.In their home,There is only one phone to incoming call and out going. One day their father were far from them as the part of his job. and called to home. But the phone was in that sisters hand.she slept by putting that phone in silent mode.Their father called to the neighbour's phone and said this thing. He informed this to mom and she beaten her daughter by this matter..After all that..she is continuing the same thing..feel so pity on that girl...

Here who is to be blamed? What the mother is doing, if the daughter done the mistake once, the mother should realize and do the needful, am I right? I don't know why the mother is not taking responsibility or checking the daughter whether she kept the phone is on ringing mode. I am not blaming the mother and I can't do it before knowing the correct reason. I think the mother can take the phone in her custody instead of beating her daughter, that is the right method and her daughter never dare to do the same mistake.

I agree with you Sreekala. There's no need to beat the child. She should have just forbidden her from using the phone that way. Once in a while, she should check on what her child is doing. That's the way it should be.

your friend already know that her father is work far to them and he need the phone to contact them, but its not that right to keep the phone silent because she is not only one who use it in the house,i think the mother should hold that phone if she always do that.

Okay so what if she has put the phone in silent mode? and so what if she forgot to turn it on? Does that mean that the father have every right to beat her up? I do not think so. She has to be told of what the consequences of her action has caused, the inconvenience and all.. but to beat her up just for this? i do not think that is quite what fathers do and mothers would stand and watch.
