Yesterday, I feel a little upset because it's VALENTINES and I see man giving flowers, chocolates and gifts to their girlfriends everywhere. They were so sweet and they look inseperable.
I was like "uhhhhh,,,they are irritating" it's not that i'm anti-VALENTINES it's just i'm not really into celebrating it. I mean I do have a boyfriend but the thing is he don't like to do those things to me. He is not that expressive and most of the time when he give gifts it is somewhat practical. BUT not on VALENTINES. Just birthdays pr christmas. On
my way home, it feels like an ordinary day and I got home and there he is the living room lying and just watching tv. I go straight to my room and to my surprise I saw a boquette of flowers and balloons and a CARD . I was really surprised and them I came to him. I kissed him and said THANK YOU.
The best part of it was his message that says:
"After all these years....
You're my forever best date...
my forever true love..
my forever VALENTINE.."
and I was stunned and I felt like crying. it is the first time he did that to me after 3 years of being together.
It's MY BEST EVER VALENTINES.....

Wow Dainon I´m just so surprised, I´m really really very happy for you. Love exists!! It´s the best part, when you get surprised because you were expecting nothing. Those are the best gifts and moments, the unexpected!

Hi there Dianon. Yes I think he loves me. Two weeks ago I felt from the bunk bed of our children and I broke my nose, almost loose my teeth and almost broke my cheekbone, I was very bad injured. He has been with me all this days, of course he attends his work, but takes children to school, pick them from school, helps me cook, arrives sooner to home, stays beside me when he arrives instead of watching TV, he is really very worried about my health.
Two weeks ago I looked like and ape, my face hadn´t form, it was three times oversized, and I had a purple eye. I was very bad injured, and he didn´t stop to tell me how much he loved me, and he didn´t stop telling me lies about how pretty I looked.
Today he cooked because I had to take two more dosis of analgesic. We went out together yesterday, we went to the cinema, and I stayed whole evenings with kids today.
He has just once given me a big flower bucket, of 100 red roses, but it was before getting engaged. Now we have three children and a lot of duties, so I don´t worry if he doesn´t spends from our budget today. But looking how much he worries for me, he makes me feel he loves me.
Blessings for you both Dianon... dainy

hahhaha.....
I doubt... It is really impossible our situation is a little complicated you know =(
His application as a US citizen in still on the process and his status there is SINGLE so if he get married the application will be denied.
SO his mother keeps talking to me and begging me to wait. =)
Well, MARRIAGE is really important but I think most important is we know that we love each other and we are ready to be together for life.
I am not in the rush yet.. (too much explaining huh?hehee)

It's kinda weird of your boyfriend that after 3 years of being together, it's just now that he has given you roses.
My husband when we were just sweethearts would always every year send me flowers or chocolates through a courier, and we would have a dinner date at night.
When we got married, he didn't anymore. Instead , he said that we should be practical, but just have a dinner date to celebrate it.

Because he is not used to do those kinds of things and like your husband he is also practical,,
He said he decided to give me something yesterday so that I wil not think that I really am important with him,, He just can't show it in many ways and I understand him because he is so fed up withi his own personal problems.
We do a lot of dates actually we go out twice a week.... like watching movie and every three three months we go out of town,,,

That was so nice! I think it's better when it is not expected.
After 9 years of being together my husband actually did something nice for me too today. =) We have never celebrated this day before in any way... But today, he made breakfast for me (eggs and bacon) and then he went outside, came back in with a beautiful rose, candy and perfume! I was really shocked to be honest because he has not done this in 9 years!!
It was a good surprise, I felt it was super sweet.

Wow, that's so cute. He is really thoughtful and sweet.
Now I have to pull something as sweet with my boyfriend, I have always been on the receiving end. I want to give back.

Hello dianon_ice14,
You are a very lucky person. My boy friend also don't like this type of festivals. And we also don't celebrate it.

Isn't it sweet and heart warming when our men would go out of their way and do something that they don't normally do just to show us their love for us? My husband isn't also that big on valentine's day, and I don't think that will change seeing as he doesn't have anything for us yesterday on valentine's day, but he is still the same guy that I love that is full of surprises. I just received a good news from him and although this will not be happening on valentine, I still think it's sweet.

Well I am anty men for some reason but it is beautiful if two persons really love each other as I find true love is very rare these days. I did not experience of that from my husband but I am so happy for you to spend a good and happy day.
