I don't know exactly what to do sometimes to make ends meet. That is why I have been looking for ways to improve my income to suffice for the needs of my family. With so many obstacles that came my way this your alone seem top shaken my resolve to hope! But the good thing is... I was never out of hope.. I have been looking for a way to provide my family the life they deserve and it led me to so many trades. My daughter once asked me about the hardship of looking for money. My reply to her was that money is the means for people nowadays to get what they want and live. But I guess I answered wrongly, for I did not explained to her the evils that come together with money. But You know what my daughter told me after I answered her question? She said, "Papa, I will study hard and be a doctor someday. I will then open my clinic and only cater the rich." I asked her why. She replied saying, "The rich has money, the poor will not be able to pay me." I was shocked. I thought at first that she is somewhat greedy. But she added something to her reply that made me proud. She said , "Then Papa, I will then divide my earnings and open another clinic for the poor and i will be for free." How many of us can say that?

I hope she sticks with this plan since most kids change their plans for life so often. Tho it was nice of her to say shed open a clinic for the poor that would be free. Most doctors won't or wouldn't do that. You should be very proud of your daughter. My hubby and have been on hard times and without much money. i am once again out of work and hes the only one making money for the house. So things with us have been a bit rough lately. I do wish you and your family the best. Just make sure your daughter doesn't forget the plan she came up with for being a doctor because that is such a wonderful plan. Your daughter sounds like a good girl with a heart and feelings for others you should be so proud of her.

I have been working hard everyday so as to give them the life they deserve. I think we all have priorities in life and for me, they come first. My only consolation is that my daughters always make me smile, even the small gestures they do. Its my reward (aside from the loving care of my wife) after a hard day's work.

You can't blame your child for thinking that way.She has seen you make ends meet for all of you.And if I were in her shoes too I would think like what she had thought to do.It is not being greedy but it is something a wise girl would do to help her family. And if a person has been in too many hardships and is left with nothing,he or she knows very well what it's like to have nothing and so in return he or she will do some charities and help those who are in need.

Actually, I always make it a point to spare my daughters in the hardships of life, as much as possible. Although we have encountered many problems financially, my wife and I have provided all the things that they need. I have spend so less for myself just to provide them good education and good food. I think my daughter's inquiries are just part of her being curious. But I have always instilled in her the good values in order for her to make the right choices as she grows up.

You brought up your kid well. She doesn't just think of what good things can do her and the family but also has the heart for those in need. I pray that your kid would become a doctor someday and be able to help a lot of people.
Your ray of hope is just beside. Cheers!

I would say that right of poor one is in pocket of rich one. I wish we will have the world that all we will be equal, no diffrence between poor and rich in my idea, if each person let 10 percent of his or her income go freely in the way of help of poor we then should not have any poor one in our society and giving away from deep of heart of just 10 percent of our income, brings a big magic to rich one to earn much more and able to help more.

You know, I asked my daughter what prompted her to say such things? She told me that in her school, a team of doctors went there for some health awareness program. My daughter, always curious and asking questions, asked one of the doctors how much will it be for a complete check-up for at that time my second daughter had a flu. The doctor replied that it depends on who will do the check-up. It still did not satisfy her so she asked again this question. "I think you make a lot of money." why asked one of the doctors. She said, "I saw in a commercial on TV I will always clean my hands before eating because its the doctor's gain if we get sick! So many people are getting sick nowadays and so you probably make a lot of money!" When she told me that, I told her that not all doctors are in that profession for money. She agreed because someday she said, she will take care of me and her mother and her sister and she will not charge me. That made me laugh.

Your daughter is sweet! And many of us ask ourselves how can we make ends meet each month. There are some interests here, at mylot, where people give ideas on how to save and live frugally. We all have learned for other people`s experiences. I have discovered a long time ago that being able to make ends meet includes always learning to spend wisely. I hope the best for you and welcome to mylot!

The rich has a purpose isn't it? We receive something from the rich and then, the money we recieve from the rich is we can make it another opportunity for the poor like what your daughter said. Everything has its own purpose that is why there is rich and poor society. If all people are rich then, what will happen? If all people are poor then, what will happen? I like what your daughter said.

Between all the things I do to earn extra money, I haven't earned a lot online, but I'm still working hard to get some extra money, and I've not quit earning online, even though it's not easy to do.

Hi,
you should be proud of your daughter. she is very kind and also practical towards life. All the experiences in our life teach us how to behave in our life. We have to struggle for our living. It is very nice that you are facing life positively and with hope of good. If we don't have hope then we can not see what is behind hope.

Oh the sweetest and darndest things kids nowadays say! They are really getting too smart and sometimes you can't help but just take a step back to give them a good look and see that they are growing up fast. At least she's got some good intentions still and her priorities seemed in the right place. She plans to help her family first then help others. I do believe that in order to be of help to others we must help ourselves first. As they say, charity begins at home.

You've got one smart and caring child. I hope she can accomplish this dream. If she keeps with it, it could do well for the future because in all countries around the globe, rich keep getting richer... the middle class disappears and we're all becoming poor.
