I sure am! I am almost 51! I know some of it is going through menopause and the ance is not bad. I just hate waking up to yellow heads on my face! Like by my nose and on the chin area! I also get pimples, once in awhile, on the side of my face by my neck and ears. Those I wish I didn't have either! I usually pick at them and that is a habit I am not sure why I do it! So what can a woman do? I need some suggestions!

Oh I'm sorry, Blue, I was just asking prettysexybriany about the "good product" she mentioned. I did want to say something about your situation, but I forgot it!:b
1.I think the place of your pimples you described might have to do with the lymph, which is in charge of "detoxing" our body.
2.It may also be related to your pillow towel, facecloth, or your hair. You can try to wash the three once a day, and if it's the lymph pro, you can try lymphatic detox therapy. I've heard this therapy work on many, but I've not tried it.
3.As for the yellow face, keep a healthy diet, and keep a positive mind. And after cooking and using the computer, you have to wash your face. It's a must, in order to keep your skin healthy and clean. You can also try some facial cleanser that contains gingko leaf ingredient, which helps to keep the face hydrated after washing, and make your face less yellow and natually white. Good luck sweetie!

Try avoiding eating oily food and also try using an antibacterial soap as suggested by Aries. But to really give you a peace of mind, go to a dermatologist so he can provide you the best anti-acne cream for you.

I will try the antibacterail soap. I did see a dermatologist over a year ago and she just told me not do anything then what I was doing! So right now I am not thrilled to try another dermatologist This is why I started this discussion hoping I would get situations from here.

Sometimes, the irritation could be caused by the shampoo that you use, too. There was one cousin of my husband who was told by her dermatologist that the cause of her pimples was the use of a strong shampoo that irritated her face. And so she was advised to changed her shampoo.

Well, a lot of times you will hear weird responses when you bring it up to Doctors sometimes about still getting them. Since I am Diabetic, this is always their first excuse for it. But it is true as we are going thru menopause, our bodies are changing to where you will have a lot of different things happening. Even with keeping our face clean they still appear. Try different cleansers as others have suggested and see if this helps any.

I will try a diiferent cleanser and see if that helps. I am not sure if diet has alot to do with which alot of people have said. I have said some is menopuase but I have been going through that like 3 years allready! I had hot flashes but hardly have them anymore. Just wish the pimples would end!

It has a lot to do with diet. My kids had bad pimples and I made them change their diet and wash their face properly with a proper soap . The pimples are caused by the wrong food affecting the pores of the skin and bacteria getting into the pores.
Picking pimples especially if your hands and face are not thoroughly clean can cause blood poisoning which can be fatal.

Anyway I am trying to do so,changing eating habits, becasue of my acid reflux. That is hard to do and sometimes I don't do it! Thanks for the suggestions though!

Pimples are infections and usually happen when we're producing more oil than normal or makeup and crap gets into our pores. Stay away from makeup, use mild soap and water rather than astringents that will increase your skin's oil production, and keep your hair away from your face. Don't wash your face more than twice a day, morning and night. I remember when I had pimples as a teen my grandma told me all this and I complained about having an oily face. She told me to just wipe it with a tissue occasionally between washings. My pimples quickly cleared up once I let my kept my oily hair away from my face, let my skin balance itself by avoiding skin cleansers, and ate lots of vegetables. No kidding, most vegetanbles are alkaline and help to balance your skin's oil/acid production.

Noticed that too and use the antibacterial soap as suggested here, but you know what else? I made a conscience effort not to touch or rub my face during the day. It amazed me how much oil and dirt was putting on my face from my own hands.

I never thought of that! I touch my face alot doing the day! Sometimes I do when I am sitting at computer! I also do in the summer when I sweat! Something I can work on! A few people have suggested a antibacterial soap. I will look into that. It could not hurt.

Hi blue!
I just would like to share my beauty secret, he he. I use antibacterial facial wash before I sleep at night. I don't want to sleep with my make-up on, I mean powder, I don't wear make up most of the time. I also use moisturizer.
However, we have different skin complexion or tone, whatever they may call it. So what is applicable to some might not be applicable to us. I think it is better to consult a dermatologist.
Have a nice day!

I don't wear make up and I have seen a dermatolgist. She said just keep on doing what I am doing and the pimples will go away in time. I saw her over a year ago and nothing has changed! UGH! So I am not sure what to do! Gr!

Sometimes, pimples also respond to our diet. There are certain foods that can induce the oiliness of our face and with improper grooming and face washing habits, this can contribute to breakouts and ugly acnes. Have you changed your eating habits lately? Sometimes we are what we eat. And also, maybe you are lacking sleep. Whenever we stay up and go to bed really late, this can take its toll on our face.

I am trying to change my diet becasue I have acid reflux disease. Still working on that! I have heard stories in the past that diet has caused problems. I swear a few years ago I read somewhere that diet has nothing to do with it! Anyway I know poor cleaning of the face can lead to pimples. That could be one of the reasons I see alot of college kids with bad break outs! I do sometimes get lazy and don't wash my face before bed. That could be some of the problem.
