The Cause of Poverty in Manila

A high school student came by to research on what seems to be the causes of poverty in manila. I searched for opinions on the net and many think that overpopulation or lack of family planning is the number one. Lack of formal education and opportunity for many, lack of jobs and lack of political will to solve the problem.

Well,it is the truth that if a country has a huge populations but without enough resources and land,it will impede its economic growth.In my opinion,it is very important for a country to practice family planning in case the populations malignant growth.

Well, the Philippines has a lot of mineral resources. Gold and other metal mines have sprouted despite the overwhelming opposition. The government spends millions in infrastructure to the benefit of the people but much much more to the favored contractors and officials themselves. Wealth is not appropriately distributed wherein others in power commit graft. When a whistle blower exposes an anomaly, it seems to those corrupt that millions for them are but considered as loose change. The rich die with millions unspent as millions die of poverty.

Hi,
In India also population growth, lack of family planning and lack of education are the main reasons for the poverty. Due to population explosion jobs are not available for all the people. the corruption is also main hurdle in the economic growth of our country.
