I ran across this not so long ago, a challenge to all and sundry (now where did I get that phrase from? some long ago forgotten book, I'm sure!) - the challenge to google this phrase "leading cause of non-natural death during the 20th century".
I have to say, this was very eye opening! One would expect it to perhaps be war.. but no.
What do you think? Up to the challenge? What could this possibly mean?

It doesn't surprise me one little pit especially when you considering abortion.

Wow, what a surprise! (I Swagbuck'd it and won 10 swagbucks!) USA had a significant role in those deaths due to our enthusiastic murder of the unborn. And if you count the slaughter of Native Americans in the 18th and 19th century we contributed a lot to global murders. (I'm trying not to say the term for it so the discussion stays lively.)
We think we are so benevolent and sympathetic when we are, as a nation, really the opposite. All this can't happen without the consent of the people.

Sure I am up to the challenge. I love to do research. Its a toss up. The governments of the world killed over 260,000,000 people in the 20th century, and heart disease. Interesting.
