My son is turning 7 months old on the 20th of February. He already knows how to crawl, can stand and walk with the help of his walker and is very interactive too. I just wonder why he hasn't have his teeth yet. Even a single tooth or a sign that he is about to grow one. Can someone help me with this? Are kids supposed to be like that? I have seen five month old kids who has already grown a tooth or two, and my son at 7 months doesn't have even one? I really wonder why?

No need to worry dear, my kids all three of them, their teeth started coming out when they are about 9 months old and going to 1 year old, some of my nephews started teething very young and they really get sick because of it. So for your son, his teeth will come out eventually, when he starts to bite on his toys then check his gums that is the sign.
For some teething rather comes too early even newborn kids, it really depends on the growth of each and every babies.

All Kids are different. I wouldn't worry about it. If there were something to be concerned about, I am sure the doctor would let you know. I had 4 children but they are all grown and I could not tell you when they got their first teeth. I know that they were all different in their developing. I hate the charts they give moms for these things. All they do is make parents worry if their child doesn't fall into the "norm" whatever that is. I've never heard of a kid not getting teeth so i'm sure they'll show up when they are ready to. Relax mom and enjoy your son. Trust me...these days pass so so fast. People told me that so I know it is cliche but it is true. I remember being so anxious for them to walk and talk and do this and that and then in a flash...they were grown. Just enjoy the good moments and know the frustrating ones will pass too and don't worry about the little stuff.

If he has not started to cut teeth by age one year, I'd take him to a dentist for x-rays. My mother said that I cut my first tooth and took my first steps alone on my first birthday. Children mature at different rates. Our daughter was walking at 8 months but didn't talk until she was 2 years. She had an older brother who always understood her points and grunts.

Some kids do grow their teeth quite late and this has something to do with the poor absorption of calcium while the baby is in his mom's womb. I also have a niece who is now 14 months old and still has gotten no teeth.
Observe for changes in his gums for the next months. If after more than one year old, he still does not have any tooth, try going to the dentist. It is most likely that a panoramic xray will be needed to make sure if there was even tooth development or if there are periodontal anomalies.

My son got his first two teeth at 7 months, 2 weeks. (He couldn't crawl or stand at the time). He quite rapidly got the rest of his teeth, I wasn't really concerned.
I think there is an age range for getting first teeth.

I don't think it's that uncommon.. they usually start teething probably around 5 or 6 months old so he's not that far behind. If you're concerned though, you should talk to your pediatrician for more professional advice.

Very child is different for sure. Not all kids get there teeth at the same age. My oldest didn't get her first tooth till she was 6 months old and by the time she was 16 months she had all of her teeth but her 4 back teeth which where the molars. But now she has them and she is 24 months old. My 5.5 month old doesn't have any teeth yet. He has been teething since he was 2 months but I don't expect him to have his first tooth by the time he is 6 months. Baby teeth will come in when they are ready two just like when baby teeth fall out they will happen around 5 to 7 years old.
My nephew that is almost 9 month just got his first 2 baby teeth. There isn't any exact age of when it's going to happen it'll happen when it happens.

I don't think there's a need to fuss... I could still remember that one of my youngest cousins had only grown teeth when she's about 1 and a half year old. Her teeth grew eventually, and it's all normal now.
