Do you cry when your pet dies?

I do! I cry alot when my dog dies. It was a year ago when my dog named Rocky died. He died when he was 8 yrs old due to a chronic cough. A months later his wife died because of loneliness. We noticed that when Rocky passed away, his wife became so lonely and loses her enthusiasm. But before Rocky is still alive, they are both happy playing in our ground. Animals do feelings too, treat them as one of your family because animals especially dogs will give his life just to save you when you are trouble. I remember one time when I read an article about dogs, it stated there that a dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself. Isn't it sweet? So please do love your pets

Hi XX and I am so sorry your lost your special Rocky. A few years back my husband had a dog named Bear and he had raised him from a pup . He loved Bear so much and so did I Bear would climb up in the bed with me and slept many nights by my side. Then one day we went to these people's house that we know. His wife is sort of not all there, she got up while we was there and went outside and let our dog Bear off the truck we didn't know this. A little while later we went outside to leave and go home but no Bear we were really worried cause he never got off the truck unless one of us told him to get down. That is when she told us she let him off the truck we couldn't really be upset with her after all she don't understand too much. So we went to looking for him he was across the street and when we had called him he started toward us and then a car came speeding down the street and hit Bear didn't kill him right off but it did kill him. The car didn't even have the decency to stop and see how Bear was. Bear only lived a little while maybe 30 minutes we cried for so long didn't think there was anymore tears to come. We decided that it was best to get another dog in our lives pretty quick to help ease the pain of Bear. Needless to say we now chain our dogs when we have them on the back of the truck this woman has since moved back home with her parents her husband has since passed on. The one thing that makes it easier to bare is the fact that we know Bear is in Heaven not suffering and waiting for us to be in Heaven with him again. If you don't believe that go listen to this man he will teach you God loves all HIS animals and they go to Heaven when they pass on. http://www.shepherdschapel.com/index.htm So know in your heart that Rocky and his wife are in Heaven waiting to see you again.

Hi XX. No that is Sam and Tank. Tank was a pup in that picture he is the small one. Sam is the big one with white paws. I used to use Bears picture but it would remind me of him and make me cry everytime I seen it. It is a good thing that you know that our beloved pets all go to Heaven when they die. We all go to Heaven when we pass on. I love the evil grin but know that the person that done this to our beloved Bear they will have to face God one day for that and what goes around comes around. Thanks

Hi free_man thanks for responding to my topic again. I really love the name of your dog, it was really cute and I know Bear is cute too. Anyways, it's really sad to hear that your dog was hit by a car and doesn't give a damn about it. Let karma do what's the best for them *evil grin* LOL The one that your using on your profile picture is Bear? I know Bear and our pets are already in heaven now

I do feel sad, and I miss my dog after I have had to dispose of him. However I do have a good feelings about it, because I know I have not allowed my dog to suffer because I put my own selfish feelings ahead of the suffering of my old tired, faithful, and sick dog. Dogs are people too, and true love is completely unselfish!

I shot the dog because he was old, and sick. He had arthritis ,was deaf, and suffering. What better cure could be found for a situation such as this?

Why you have to dispose him :( I remember way back 90's my mom sold our dog for a couple of penny's because he was so stubborn and my mom gets so irritated. One time she told me that she kept those money for a long time because she knew that it was the compensation of Browny's life :'( I know it very selfish, but there's nothing I can do about it because I was so young about that time

There is this famous saying "Dog are man's best friend". It is indeed true. There is a popular movie called 'Hachiko', the story about a faithful dog who waited everyday without fail at the train station for its owner. One day the owner passed away, yet he still there at the train station waiting and hoping to see his owner comes back. I do have many dog and every time any of the dog gone, I felt deeply sad. They are so loving and just like a family member.

Thanks for your response. Yeah, my mom doesn't want to adopt another dog because she's so much attach to our pets, she doesn't want to feel sad again if in case if our pet die again

We also had a cemetery for them in our backyard and it's not weird if you have a cemetery for your pets. It means you just really love your pets to do that

Yes, I get terribly upset when pets die. It's so hard to get over the loss. Right now, we have no pets which is my choice. My husband would prefer another dog but I'm not ready. We had a dog and a cat we had to put to sleep within about a year. What a horrible experience so am taking a long break for the time being. Sorry for your loss.
