I bought 1 case of bottle of water for one week. I don't buy too many bottled water, because I cook water to drink in my home. In case of going out, I bring a bottle of water as my water stock. I think drink too many bottled water can cause cancer. a health bottled water is a product with a safe sign at the bottom of the bottle.

I am from India, we don't need to buy water so often but i can suggest you to drink more and more water, its good for health. To keep yourself healthy drink 3-4 litres of water everyday and specially in morning before eating anything.
Happy Drinking and Mylotting :)

Now why would I buy water in a bottle when I can get it free and cleaner from the tap?

You must be lucky to live in a place where the water is pure and the delivery pipes are made of the proper material...
In the states, they still "purify" the water with chlorine which is a deadly poison even in small amts. and causes hardening of the arteries which has become a major problem here.
Most city water pipes are made of metals that break down and release components that cause health problems in humans...The pipes are all aging and deteriorating, but companies keep all of the corporate profits and will not invest in infrastructure...
People are always 'flushing' old pharmaceuticals and other chemicals that eventually end up in our aquifers, further polluting our water supplies...
Of course most folks do not know that most "bottled" water also comes through someones taps... Plus there is the problem of plastic polluting the water in the bottle if left in the sun for even a short time...

I never use bottled water...The plastic bottles can cause cancer and are polluting the whole world...It is also a waste of money.
30 years ago, I invested in a multipure water purifier and hooked it up...I buy a new filter once or twice a year and I am good to go. No pollution, economical, and it works...

I think that buying water is just silly. If a person is worried about something that might be in their water why don't they get a filter and filter their water? It would save them alot in the long run and much less plastic in the world to do away with.

I don't like buying the bottles of water outside since it is very unenvironmental. As these bottles are not useful after drinking the water. It will create more trash. So I prefer to bring my own bottle of water when I go out. I don't think it is troublesome. I'd like to do something good for our planet.

I don't drink bottled water, as I drink water from the faucet. i have a huge water bottle thaqt i fill up and keep by the laptop, and when it is gone, then I fill it up again. water is very healthy to drink, as i used to drink soda, but that isn't good to drink at all, so now that i drink water, I feel much better. I don't overdue it though, as you can drink to much and can have problems. Take care!

Don't buy bottled water! Not only is it a complete ripoff (it's more expensive than gas!) but it's not necessarily cleaner than your tap water (it could just be tap water), and the plastic is harming the environment.
If you want to buy water, buy one of those large jugs of water. They will be about the same price as a couple bottles of water, so you save money. They can be refilled, so you help the environment and save more money, and they are probably more healthy and refilling them doesn't erode the plastic like in water bottles.
I only ever buy water bottles if im desperate.
