5th graders on plotting a murder

So I read this news about kids plotting a murder to a rude girl, they're only 10 and 11 years old having knife and gun on their way to school. Good thing is that a 4th grader saw the knife and reported it to the teacher and the 2 were arrested. The 2 boys confessed and the younger one supposed to stab the girl for being rude and making fun of him and his friends while the older one will have the gun just in case someone will messed up on their plan. I usually blame the parents right away, the family. But I'm thinking again, our society is growing bolder, more advanced, almost capable of anything. Then teaching the kids the advances that the older people learned. Like the tv series CSI, everyone can watch this and everyone can learn from this and parents cannot stop their children from learning new things. Parents, teachers can guide the kids but cannot control them. They already have an advance mind of their own, and have their own stupid choices in life. All I'm saying is that maybe this is the price we pay for continously evolving and surviving in this world.
