I know it sounds odd. I am doing some exercise at home every day, that includes a yoga morning routine. I was reading online that it is suggested to do the morning yoga with an empty stomach before breakfast, because it helps with the poses and correct posture. So I start my day by working out a bit and then have my breakfast. THe problem is that I feel very hungry in the middle of the yogfa routine, it's the first time that this has happened to me but on the other hand, I was never working out so early in the morning. This scedule that I am following is very refreshing for me and I am full of energy for the rest of the day. But do you think it's normal to feel my stomach so empty while I am doing my morning yoga?

That feeling is genuine my friend. And i think its fine. Not sure if it happens to all people but it certainly happens to me.But in my case, its towards the later half of the exercise and yoga routines. But then do not eat before you finish your yoga/exercise.You would find it tough to exercise.Plus the body might not appreciate the same during exercise.Even if you take lighter items including fruits , same could be the result. But instead drink water and return to your routines. This will help to quench your immediate hunger and help in continuing things. Also do not eat heavy breakfast or things after exercise/yoga.Go for something light including fruits.Look for calories as well.I do have this empty feelings while exercising,e specially towards the end of the routines, i just go for 300-500 ml of water and a large apple. The best thing is another 20-30 minutes, the hunger disappears and i feel rejuvenated. Do not worry. With little practice of things and having an apple after routines should help you for time being. And once the wake up times are all fine, you will be all right for early mornings.Hope it helps you. Thanks!

Thanks a lot for sharing your experience! To be honest, I want to avoid eating while I am working out because I am sure that I will get a feeling of discomfort. Plus, my second part of exercise is more intense so I will probably have issues and won't be able to finish the routine. I drink water if I feel thirsty though and it feels better!

I am not advanced in yoga so I just follow the routine and try to relax and empty my mind, I don't meditate. So why do you think that my appetite is increased?

This routine is truly appreciable and beneficial foe the health, as well as the food routine as the morning food will always be heavy, this will raise your food quantity.
