For the first time in my life and I am an old woman tried cranberry sauce just as a filling for something I was making at my husband suggestion it turned out pretty good. I think I tried it once when I was a child I am not really sure. Any way I thought I wouldn't like it don't know why. I tried it and loved it from the very first bite. Have you ever done that before? What have you not tasted and don't think you will really like? My husband got me to drinking butter milk too and it is pretty good. So why won't you try something new?

hi dear free man, I love trying new food as long as they wont have anything to do with fish and seafood as I am not going near these. Something I tried and liked was fresh mango quite a while ago and now I am getting me a mango now and then.

It took me a long while to learn to eat asparagus. I will try most fruits or vegetables. It is usually some kind of meat that I would have a hard time trying. I do not do organ meats at all.

Hi GG. I love asparagus I don't have a problem eating most vegetables but there are some that I haven't tried yet beets is one of them. I wasn't raised eating cranberry sauce at all mom never fixed it. I love liver it helps your liver repair itself. Liver and onions are great but you can't cook them too long or they get like rubber and that is nasty. I love to eat the gizzards. Deer heart I tried it for the first time this year and boy is it good. Never will eat brains or eyes of any animal.....yukkkkkkkkkkk

Now, with this something did come into my mind... and that is trying the mint sauce. Well I love mint candies, and I love meat... so when boyfriend and I have gone to a steakhouse, my order comes with a meat sauce. I thought i would even finish the mint sauce - i do all the time, gravies, cranberry sauce, strawberry sauce, etc. But when i dipped my lamb chops in the mint sauce and tasted it... it felt weird in my mouth! hahah I was like eating a toothpaste. ;)nIt was weird feeling in my mouth, the mint and the cranberry and the meat... he he i was almost laughing at myself while i was eating at the time. :D

Hi Chiyosan. Wow never heard of a mint sauce. What did it taste like? What kind of mint did they use? That is weird eating toothpaste. My husband brushes our dogs teeth and they will eat the toothpaste as he is brushing their teeth. Tell me more about this mint sauce I would like to try it.

I am all good with trying out new food. In fact, I am excited to everytime. I grew up wherein my dad has taught us to eat whatever was served on the table. And eating some exotic food is the best!

Hi Jenny. Since I have been grown I have tried many new foods. My mom was the same way when she cooked a meal you sat at the table and ate everything you put on your plate. But if you didn't put something on your plate mom would put a couple of bites on your plate and you had to at least try it. I loved eating hot peppers with my dad he ate them like candy. Which turned out to be a good thing hot stuff helps prevent colds in my family. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Extremefun4fun and welcome to my lot. That is odd I never heard of anyone that didn't like cheese or butter. I put cheese on a lot of foods I eat. When I make homemade biscuits I always put butter on them when I get them out of the oven. Oh well to each their own.

I love cranberry sauce but I have loved it all my life. The thing that I never would like is fish, at least I thought I didn't like it. So at 50+ and living in Puerto Rico I have now tired Salmon and Tilapia and I love the both of them. No one can believe I'm eating fish especially my parents because my mom did not cook fish in our home growing up. Now I'm having fish at least twice a week and to know its healthy for you is an added bonus.

Hi Lelin. I love eating/cooking fish I have always loved that my mom didn't eat much meat at all maybe hamburger once in awhile but she loved fish. Salmon and Tilapia are great fish to eat. Bass and Cod are great fish too. Perch I don't care too much for. Love catfish but it is an unclean food so I don't eat as much as I used to eat of it. By unclean I mean by Gods laws it isn't clean. It taste great. I have even eaten rattlesnake many years ago and it taste like fried chicken. The fish has omega in it and it is great for your health. The best place to get the omega that we need is through fish.

I'm not quite adventurous with food but I would always love to try something new. With food, I just don't want to try the ones that are not cooked, but I'm willing to try exotic ones.

Hi Kourdapya and welcome to my lot. I love raw vegies they are good for all your vitamins. I like to try something if I see them eat it first think I might try it. I love hot stuff. I don't think I will ever eat raw meat unless it is the only thing left in the world to eat.......LOL There are stuff in the wilderness that can be eaten if you know what your looking for. Thanks
