Due to the advance of technology in our society nowadays, most people resolve to the use of machines and other laundry related services. But some would still go for manual laundry because its way cheaper and the clothes are more thoroughly cleaned and cared of. Do you do manual laundry?

Yes, I'm alone in my place and it is more easier for me to send my dirty clothes to laundry but I prefer doing it with myself. I do wash my clothes manualy and I enjoyed it because I am assured that my clothes are safe from switching and from fading. In this world we should be practical all the time, it is really hard to earn money. If we can do it or still have time to it.. why not right?

I used to do manual laundry when i was in college. The consideration at that time was money rather than time.I agree it was cheaper and much more easy back then. But then not all are good in doing manual laundry.I could not give proper care many a times to my white clothes. It was tough on them. But then somehow managed things. But now, i am doing laundry with help of washing machine. With lot of things plus online work gives me less time to do manual laundry.Besides an automatic washing machine helps a lot in getting things done faster and convenient.I agree on the only negative, that certain clothes and clothes that we care could not given the proper fabric care as needed in most of washing machines. But then when we get older, time and energy are needed and sometimes we need more on these fronts. So its balance between the priorities and technology that is needed in many cases. In today's world, many are finding manual washing tough.Especially the office going professionals including me.Same goes with laundry services although they are more costly compared to the last two of the things we discussed. Thanks!

I do handwash uniforms of my kids if they need to wear the same kind of uniform the following day. But I would never handwash more than 5 pieces of shirts! I's surely have cuts on my finger. Besides, it's tiring!

Hello ! Manual laundry is good though very tiring because our clothes would be handled well and would be wash by hands ,so it is being washed gently not like machine was that clothes are being pull strongly , turned and twisted well so dirt will be gone but our clothes are being stretched well , which would make our clothes look old. The problem with washes hand is that it would eat a lot of our time and we can't afford to waste time because so many task awaits for us. So i prefer washing machine more , very convenient , time saving and economical.

Yes, I do manual laundry. Manual laundry is cleaner than using laundry machine. I don't want to spend my money buying a machine laundry because I have not too much clothes to wash. Doing laundry myself manually is better.

I still do, for light materials and sensitive clothing, like underwear, hankies and some socks. I think that I can clean these up by hand washing without getting these all stretched out and meshed long when washed using a machine washer. Once I tried to put some lace hankies in the washer and even though I switched it to gentle wash mode it still shredded the lace trimmings.

We don't do manual laundry nowadays. We use the washing machine. I agree that in manual laundry the clothes are cleaner than with machine however it is kind of difficult doing the manual laundry and hands will get soak and can have scars because of brushing or can have allergy because of soap.

For delicate items I hand wash. Otherwise I use my washing machine. I can't see doing sheets and blankets by hand nor heavy bath towels. I use a tiny drop of bleach in with dispenser and it kills whatever germs lurk in the clothing. I also use a cleaner for for the washing machine tub.
