Mylot ranking, ratings and earnings...

My ranking has certainly dropped but it does not concern me much since my purpose in joining myLot is to be able to contribute my tw0-cents worth in the discussions. There are several instances when other members don't appreciate the comments I posted and may have had given me negative marks. I simply don't allow my ranking to affect my enthusiasm in this site. However, I am almost always able to post only about 3 or 4 comments due to lack of time. Hopefully, I will be able increase my activity soon.

my reputation has been in a steady almost 9. i saw it increasing gradually from a 4. so i'm really happy. as much as possible, i don't really care about the rankings and the ratings i'm more concerned on the earning. hahaha. it's true.

Yeah you will find people that do care about earnings and stuff, because that is why some are here. Many talk about it and do not care much, but you know if you care then you do and if you don't then you don't. I think that if they want to make more money and stuff then you are in a good place, but you have to work really hard. You just have to participate a lot more.

I think that for easiness of participation here, concerns about ranking is a negative factor. I haven't experienced "Grammar" playing as villain role at MyLot platform. In the case earnings, I think that you aren't utilizing maximum chances. You are making many good discussions and getting good number of responses too. But, earnings from discussions depends upon the number of worthy comments that you make on responses. I have noticed that you are giving worthy comments to a few responses and just make formal acknowledgements to many of the responses. Such formal acknowledgements may not bring any earnings. So avoid this " Miser" attitude in the matter of comments and see what changes come to your earnings balance. Good luck!

There's one main reason you won't earn well and that is your activity if its low. You don't have to post on a ton of discussions but partipate with people in the one's you start or reply in. The ratings effect our earnings in some way but not cmpletely just that.

I am not really care about my rating and ranking. As long as we write as good and we are not break the TOS, we will earn. I just writing at any interesting topics, and I don't care about my rating and ranking. What i am focusing is my earning. I also don't car if you rate this post negative. Just ejnoy discussions here and have fun.

These would be attributed to the ratings you get from the members from your replies. So it does not necessarily have to be a response where in you would have exchanges of responses and comments that was caused by a misunderstanding. think what you can do however is to post quality discussions by not sending the response if it was too short. My rating has been steady so far and i really try not to have it go down so i can be sure that i have a steady "reputation" at the site... after all we earn by our participation and interactions with fellow mylotters. For me personally those three are important things, but other than that, i really enjoy posting discussions here and get many responses from my friends. Very important rule here is Do not break the guidelines to avoid deletion of discussions, earnings deleted too, so rankings will be low also right? Everything you do here is monitored but you should have nothing to worry if you go bu the rules.

When I finally got my rank it was 9 and I never reached 10 nor dropped to 8 or below. I wonder why my rank didn't level down since I was inactive for around 5 months. Maybe some of your posts were rated negatively that's why your rank dropped. I am really not very familiar with the rating system here in mylot. I just write discussion, comment to posts I find interesting. I also rate discussions, and comments whenever I really like them and sound insightful. But if positively rated posts means more money, well, I could only wish my posts are always rated that way. There's no way I'll ever know that though. But you are pretty good for getting a 10 rank.

When i post only a few in a day, my earning is around the figure like you mentioned, just a few cents added to my account, i assume it is quite common to make only a few cents with 3-4 posts, not because of our ranking or star rating, i will not be bothered by it much, just keep posting and focus on writing instead of how many dollar i earn daily, i guess it is less stressful in this way for me during Mylotting.

I don't take particular notice of my rankings. I just post and post and enjoy so. In fact, i was surprised when i first saw my profile on the leader board of Philippines many many months ago. Even the number beside my username, i don't take notice of it actually, except of course of the star ratings. I was surprised that it's now 10,000 plus.

I have always maintained the reputation of 10 and I am very happy about it. But then, just like how you said, a couple of days ago, suddenly, my reputation went to 9, for which I really felt bad because I have always been on the 10 category and suddenly dropping down did make me feel very bad. I am very cautious about it and I make really good quality posts as much as i can to keep up to hat reputation. The other important thing is, I felt that the earnings here does get affected on mylot according to your ratings and reputations. The full advantages of your earnings will be decided according to your reputation and since the reputation is regarding your quality and mylot is all about quality posts, and it is mentioned that quality posts will earn more, your reputation will earn you at least a couple of cents more than an average performer.

This has happened with me too.All at once one day I saw my reputation reduced to 81 from 92.At first,I was shocked and felt depressed.Someone must have rated my responses negative.But I was unable to anything about it.So I breced up to boost my ratings once again.But ratings in Mylot do not fall down due to grammatical mistakes.As we all know,or posts are not edited here.You must have noticed members here who are poor in English.Yet they have managed to get a blue star.

Well you care about these things or not but these are the only things which really count here on mylot. If you earn thats def going to help you. If you get a higher ranking then you are earning more respect for yourself fro mylotters heart. rating too decide your earning, so more or less these things matters.

What I like to tell you in this regards is that concentrate on your work i.e. logging in to your account daily, reading the post and leaving a quality response.

Hi ! Grammar has no weight in our earnings , this is how i understand it and correct me if i am wrong . I am not yet that expert here about the rules but it doesn't mean that we won't do our best in writing correct grammar . We should always have the room to grow and improve .
