Hello there...
I just love the way credit card does. We have a enough time to repay and worryless life and can buy anything we like in an instant. Is that not true? It has some special offers. We can recharge our mobile free of cost, discounts on hotels, dresses and much more.
But currency doesn't have these much relaxations right? Of coarse I agree that spending limitless on a credit card will put us in debt but is it true that spending within limit has some great benefits?
Please feel free to put your valid thoughts here...
Cheers..
Have a great day always...

I think if you can handle your finances very well, it is of course credit cards are great to use. You get to pay for something like cash, and when you pay the whole amount in your credit card company - it is as if you just rolled your money and extended its use. You simply had the time =)
But if you are to use credit cards and do not pay the whole amount, surely interests will put you in a huge debt. Credit card bills are just insane and interests are so high. You should really not attempt to use it when you do not intend to pay in full every time the bill arrives. it can get messy, believe me.

I think that both credit cards and currency have their places of use in this economy. Currency can be used anywhere and is very relliable for purases and paying off debts. Credit cards are easy to manage in your wallet but you pay a little more for them in the end. I think it all depends on the uses we have these things for. If we are afraid of losing our cash, credit cards are safer. We just have to think about what is best for our needs.

In my first experiences of traveling I took travelers checks and these were a big mistake. I was traveled around Europe and came across many different currencies. Now I always think having a little of the countries currency is a good idea to have if it is possible to get it in your home country. I could not get Colombian money in my home country. I spent a lot on my credit card when I was in New Zealand. It took ages to pay it all off.
I prefer to spend using my debit card and use it an ATM machines to withdraw local currency. However fees were a lot for its use on my last trip. I have now got two new credit cards ideal for traveling. Zero percent for loading and zero percent for spending. However they are pricey for cash withdrawal. Therefore I have a new debit card for free cash withdrawals. I have to make five spends or more on it per month or I get a charge. Before my next trip I will put lots of money on it to use on my trip. I have another bank account because I got money for joining it and it has one high interest saving account.
So I will be taking two credit cards and one debit card ideal for traveling. Plus I will be taking some euros but pounds. Often on a trip I take US dollars. It depends on the country or countries.

I personally like to use cash and my debit card because then I don't have to worry about going into debt or having a bunch of interest to pay just in case something happens where I am not able to make my payments. I have yet to get a credit card but I would like to because I know that I need to start building credit so that way when I apply for loans for acreage and things like that I will have a better chance of being approved.
I really don't want any credit cards because I don't like that they charge you so much interest and a lot of people have gone into a good amount of debt because they ended up just charging everything on to their credit cards. Credit cards would be nice to have though because sometimes I run out of medicine before I get paid and it would nice to be able to order my stuff in advance before I got paid that way I wouldn't miss days with my supplements.

Building a skyscraper, do you start getting the materials you need or do you pour a foundation of dreams and rainbows etc.? Because 'dreams & rainbow etc.' are all that credit-money truly is, while currency-money--while maybe worth just as much as 'dreams & rainbows etc.'--is "something real" that you can trade for something else that's 'real!'

It depand on the atmosphere around you. If you are living at a place where every or almost every shop or showroom accept credit card then it certainly is a better option. On the other hand where you have to cash out every now and then, then cash should be a better choice.

I like cash itself. If I have credit cards I will spent limitless, later I will find it difficult to repay. That's why still I am not taking the credit card. Also the credit card company also want us to spend more that's why they are giving this much offer. I we fail to repay within the stipulated time we have to pay the fine which is huge. But I have to say that I am comfortable with debit cards as it allows us to spend only the amount which we have in our account.

Hello, It is true that credit card does wonders. It changes our lives altogether. We can buy what we desire when we have lack of money. At the same time we also can collect points for our purchases and later these points can be converted to products or gifts we long for. But there is a catch there! DO NOT over buy on credit. Servicing interests charged by the banks who issue these credit cards is astronomical. The banks which issue these cards make tons of money. So be cautious, buy on credits within your limits.

Well, I personally do not have credit card, but rather a debitcard, a post card prepayed.
However on this card, I build up my savings, I try to charge it every time with reasonable amount, as any movement by me with this card, means , some costs.
Your statement that he prefers the credit card rather than cash, I find it correct, but only up to a certain point.
You said that if you go too far in purchases with the card you are likely to go into the "red"!
This is a detail, in my opinion, should not be underestimated.

It depends on what you need to purchase or what you are going to pay for. There are some instances that a credit card benefits you more if you use it to pay your needs. LIke in the case of some expensive furniture or appliances. You can enroll this in 0% installment, therefore you need not spend a huge amount of money in one transaction. In certain cases still, it will be much better to transact using cash, for example if you are a recipient of a service charge of course it would be more preferable, being the recipient, to have it in cash.
Personally, I prefer to transact using my credit card. If ever I have to return my items or I have something to dispute, I can choose to have the transaction reversed or refuse to pay it unless my issue has been settled. Unlike cash, I will be on the losing end since I already let go of the money.

Hello ! For me credit card is good if you have good control of yourself but if you can hardly control the passion of shopping then this would turn only a problem in the future. So beautiful to shop with credit card , it seems unlimited shopping but when its the time for settling accounts ...headache starts . Better , better use cash always .

It really takes discipline with credit cards because it's really tempting to buy especially those 0% installment plans. So I don't bring my card to malls for I am afraid that I might be tempted to buy something that I do not really need as of the moment. I prefer cash because credit is still a credit and I still have to worry about it in the future.

Yes purchase through Credit Cards is certainly rewarding. But I feel when you don't have to pay cash, you do not spend judiciously at times. Moreover, there are many places which do not accept credit cards or charge certain fees on usage of the same. So to me, both are equally necessary, as Credit Cards reduces the use of hard currency, whereas the hard currency can be used at every place providing the requisite flexibility.
