Spiritual power

As we age gracefully, a time comes, when I feel we need do have more and more spiritual power to make the ‘life after death’ fruitful and peaceful; though I don’t know for sure if any such life exists.
Most of us believe in existence of some super natural or supreme power; the persons who still live in deep forests; whom many consider as uncivilized; also believe on this; depending upon our religion and faith; we call this Almighty supreme by different names. Some have just one God; we Hindus have so many Gods and Goddesses.
Here are my suggestions to gain such power.
Perform ‘pooja’ (worship), ‘prayer’ etc every day in morning after bath for 30 minutes during 5-6 a.m.
Visit temple, church, mosque, I mean place of prayer or worship once in a week.
Always seek and get wishes from teacher, parents, and elders.
Visit spiritual meetings for enlightening you souls.
Don’t talk unnecessarily on rotten subjects.
Be humble in everyday life and dealings.
Keep your emotional intelligence in highest level.
Always have faith in super natural force.
Set aside your hard earned money at least, 10% for donating to poor, orphan children, old people in any form
If you are Hindu; get one mantra from your pandit (priest) and chant as many times you can; depending upon your mood and convenience every day.

Hope you like my tips, add yours if any; respond and share your experience.
Thanks in advance. Professor Dr. B.Saraf. PhD.
Cheers have a lucky day ahead.

I would really thanks and appeciate your discussion about spiritual power. I have seen people by some ages, day by day becomes more interested in that field. Howany I am not that much mature but really interested in worship because that is the only way I feel not alone and feel relax in mind. I think the most affective worship time is that early morning before sunrise and then in sunset time. I used to say mantra according to my religion and make myself calm and relax.
Thank you again for your nice discussion.

Yes I do believe that spiritual life goes along with secular life. I my self believe that with each prayer and praise we served to The Lord Almighty will in turn makes our life easier. I had many friends with different religions and saw how the live their life.
Many who practices their spiritual diligently had their life happier. I think the reason is simple. When you are closer and had high spiritual life in side effect we achieve calmness and won't be easy to be bothered by bad emotion such as wanting other peoples possession which in turn bring more friends whom flourished our life.

Hi Professor, Something that pleases me so much in your spiritual discussions, is that your are never against those who belong to other religions. You do not feel that it is your place to convince them that yours is the only way. I see so much of that, especially in the west. You make some great suggestions here especially I like the idea of donating ten percent of your income to the poor. I like to spent some time everyday in silence, where I listen to the still small voice within. Sometimes we talk too much and do not listen enough. Blessings my friend.

Spiritual strength or power can be very important.
It can help with more than dying and feeling good.
In general, I advise being a good person. This could be a big part of having a good spirit or having the strength. Try help people if the opportunity is presented and try to avoid the big sins if you can. If you make a mistake, try to confess. Especially confess if you make a big mistake.

I always think religion faith make people virtuous.
What I do to keep the deep peace of my heart,is to live in the present moment. I like do yoga or meditate.
The universe is too big to make me believe everything is posible.I believe there are must be a large number of God and there are must be some people who have special power.

Being spiritual means being connected to one's higher self, that is the place where God resides in all of us. Spiritual comes from the word spirit which means one's soul. During our lifetime, we remain busy with our education, responsibilities, earning livelihood, other duties and social obligations. As we grow old, the need and quest to stay close to God increases.

I have a question. Which is a more effective mantra for abundance? Is it the ganesh mantra about removing obstacles? Or is it the mantra for abundance by lakshmi? I had noticed that chanting both 108 times in a day didn't seem to produce any noticeable results. It seems to even negate abundance or something. I wonder if the ganesh mantra for removing obstacles would work more in a sense that abundance may be easily flowing if whatever obstacles are removed albeit we don't exactly know what those obstacles are.

Thanks for the detailed response.
Ganesha is worshiped first in any puja, rituals or celebrations, you certainly know that, you can see pictures of HIM at the entrance to homes, offices,
Another good thing is Hanuman chalisa, HE removes all obstacles, recite minimum 3 times daily in morning and before going to bed.
