Aid product. I stood there reading the ingredients for a minute...I don't think I had ever read them before...All of the diet aids had caffeine in them that was supposed to be the equivalent of a cup of coffee...Hmm...Most people drink or eat that much everyday...Why would that really help in weight loss...Especially when they warn you not to ingest any other sources of caffeine... I think that this is just another scam...What say you?

So an extra cup of coffee would do the same thing? Maybe! One of the current fads in dieting is green coffee beans; I wonder if that's why? Caffeine is a diuretic, which means that it takes water from your system, so if someone doesn't usually take caffeine or takes very little, losing the water will seem like they're losing weight. To be fair, caffeine can suppress appetites in some people, they say. I kind of agree with you. It does seem like a scam.

I don't drink coffee...I cannot stand the smell of it. I do drink a lot of green tea however...They say that five cups a day is a way to lose lbs...I drink way more than that and I never lost an ounce...

I'm big on green tea as well. Not for the weight thing but for the health benefits of lowering cholesterol, reduces risk of heart disease, stroke and cancers, all of which runs rampid in my family. It's an antioxidant and helps keeps the kidneys flushed.

I think the miss use of diet pills can be dangerous. There is a mixture of caffeine in them and plant extracts that suppressing appetite but to me that contradicts each other. Mainly because you're giving your body a jump start with the caffeine that sends the signal to get energy...aka food. Caffeine speeds up our heart rate and for a person who is over weight it can put added stress on an already stressed heart. Excess caffeine also causes anxiety and insomnia. I don't think it's a scam persay, more like it's preying on people with weight issues to give them another unhealthy choice.

Well, it really depends on what the product is, as there are some that work well for others, and highly recommended, and then there are some that are good until someone says they are Bad. But in reality I guess it is up to each individual on what they decide for themselves. Personally I use a product that has helped to maintain my weight, and bring down my Cholesterol and a1c to more better levels, and helped my husband loose weight as well. But it is a product you can only get via the internet from people using it.
