Rude Doctors!!!!

To be frank, I do not know how it is in other countries but in Indian government hospitals they can be a lot rude. I do not blame them because they have to see over 100 patients a day and most of time people do not stay in line and try to get inside the doctor chamber without anyone calling their name. They would fight with doctors and many would not even let them have their lunch even at 3 pm because they want that he should give them free medicine for cough first and would enter his room coughing while he is having his lunch. Also in Indian govt hospitals they do lot more than treating patients. They do checking of subcenters, work in IPPi and many other govt prog and dont get paid extra. So what I feel that 99% of time doctors are right in being rude, patient like it or not. Also well out here they have so many patients ( good doctors) that one patient less won't effect them simply because they are too over worked.

There are a lot of doctors who has that attitude. And I guess it is brought about by having long hours of hospital duty. It is true that they should not behave that way in front of their patients and doctors like them are expected to be professional all the time. Tired or not, they should provide a good service to their patients.

Hello Kprofgames, I´m worried about your sickness, I hope that you get better soon. Sure I´ve been with rude doctors. Specially I remember when I was pregnant for third time, the doctor that was going to deliver my baby was very rude, and as it was a private hospital a week before the delivery date I changed him. He wasn´t going to treat me rude in my special day. Oh no! And I wasn´t going to pay him to treat me rude. No way. You have the right to be treated good, with respect, with dignity. I have visited a rude doctor few years ago and after that again I didnot go to that doctor as it is too important for a doctor how to spean and behave with patients.
