I think Meg deserves the Phantom (Erik) and not Christine. So, who else agrees?

I don't know but Meg is really just so much tougher than Christine, who is really just so weak minded. And I really think, that for Erik, he needs someone strong, instead of someone all too happy to be strung along.

Well one cannot really dictate the feelings of other people, albeit fictional characters, and especially when it comes to love. Even if Meg is admirable in some ways, Christine is admirable in a different way too. And one doesn't really fall in love based on just the positive characteristics of the beloved but, I would like to think, with the entire package, strengths and flaws and all.
