I miss her.

well that's the use of internet even she's there you still can contact or doing video cam thing with her at least I have no closed one friends all is normal btw I'm sure she also miss you much

My situation is reversed, I am the one who has to go to another country and leave my friends behind. I migrated to another country to join my husband. I will not be visiting them for a couple of years as we need to start a new life here. My friends visiting me here is a bit impossible because of VISA issues and how it is quite strict in being granted. I do miss them, especially now that I am not that busy. I always talk to them but now, this is also a bit of a challenge. Since we both have different time zones now, I am sleeping when they're awake, and I am awake only for them to be asleep. It is difficult but I plan to make new friends here as well. Of course that doesn't mean that I will be forgetting about them. I will still look forward to seeing and spending time with them again. For now, we have to content ourself with emails, chats and instant messages.

I have a dear friend who lives in the US that we only see each other when we have alumni reunion every 3 years. We often have little talks online and even phone calls from her but recently because of her work also we seldom talk to each other but the good news is she will come to our reunion this april.

Well, good thing about living in this era, is that we can communicate through modern gadgets. So whenever we miss somebody, we can call that person, chat to that person, have video call to that person. Whereas before, snail mail is used and its pretty aggravating to know the response to your message. So consider ourselves lucky today, everything is so easier when we miss somebody.

yes I have lots of friends who is working abroad. I miss them all the time but then I understand why they have to leave. sometimes I try to rely on communicating in PC to talk to them but then speaking in front of the computer still different in physically. I guess we have to wait for them when time comes that they will go back here with us.

my best friends are far from me and we communicate often online.but we haven't see for several years,i miss her,but i should stay in my city for my job and everyone has her dream, a city dream. i support them to pursue the life she wants.i believe that we will get together someday,and the same to you. best wishes!

I have a lot of friends that have moved far away from here and that is something that is definitely not easy for me because I tend to be the kind of person that really likes to spend a lot of time with my friends. However, I don't think that this is something that is as bad today as it used to be because the technology that exists today does make it a lot easier to keep in contact with friends and family members that are both near and far.

I do have close friends who are now living in the US. The first time I learned that they were leaving for good, that really made me sad. Those times, Skype and Facebook has not been on the net. And we only communicated though email. Phone calls were expensive. good thing now that we have this internet connection, we get to chat over Facebook or talk via Skype or Viber. Now we feel that we need some space! But seriously, I really thank God for technology coz it has made us closer to the people we love who are far away.

We can't stay together forever,so we have to learn to seperate apart.I totally understand how you feel,while we need to be strong,to contact very often or do something else to distract your feeling,you will feel better as time goes by.I also have such kind of friend as you did.
