Hosting or Visiting?

I hosted Thanksgiving.. man there was a lot of clean up.. next year.. we are going to a park.

We went to my dad's, next year to my wife's folks. It is the tradition started forty years ago. We are thankful to still have our folks around.

I'm going to my Aunt and Uncle's house with the rest of my family and lots of relatives. it should be pretty fun, but it is a small house and it gets pretty crazy very quickly, and there are lots of dogs.

Visiting, thank goodness! I always told my husband I NEVER wanted to host. But that was before we had a house. I could almost see it now. We have hosted a few casual dinner parties. He cooks, so I'm safe in that department. We are just going to our neighbor's, so it is a short trip! And it should be fun.

I am going to my aunt and uncles also. One thing I like about going somewhere for the day is when we have had enough we can go home!
