I am going to a tattoo convention on Saturday.
I’m big into my tattoo’s, I have 10, or 11.. I can’t quite remember. I love the bright colour, sailor jerry style, old school tattoo’s, but some tattoo’s I have seen recently are phenomenal!
It baffles me how some people can tattoo something to someone, and it looks like they have glued a photograph to their arm or leg! Amazing.
The convention is in the south of Ireland, and I am very excited. I can’t wait to see all the different skills of all the different artists.
I am not looking forward to the 3 and a half our drive to get their though. Every cloud has a black lining lol!
It makes me wonder, how far would I travel to see something I’m interested in.
What do you think of this?

That sounds quite good fun! The drive will be worth it if you love tattoos! I only have 1 but, my husband has 4 now although he does want more so I know he will be getting more soon!

I'd love to go to a tattoo convention, and get to see all those tattoos I can normally only see in photos close up. How can you not remember how many you've got though?! Go look in a mirror woman!
In answer to your question, I'm going to a meeting in March which is going to involve a 6 hour drive either way, and an overnight stay. I'm petrified!

No spiders web on your neck then?
I'm really hacked off about this meeting actually. They've hassled and hassled me to go which is a right pain as I've got kids and animals to organise if I'm not here. Went to register today and they're wanting 15 euros a day which wasn't mentioned before. For me and partner, that works out as an extra 90 on top of the petrol and accommodation which is a bit steep for a meeting I feel obliged to go to rather than want to go to if you see what I mean. I haven't registered yet, I'm too busy being bad tempered.

oh my goodness.. 6 hours. one way?? i'd be sick. i would literally vomit. lol. i get very very travel sick! i hope it's a good meeting?
I couldn't remember how many I had because one was actually a cover up. So tecnically I have been tattoo'd 11 times, but I have 10 tattoo's.
My tattoo's are all very cute and girlie though.. I don't have big monsters lol!

I hope that you will really enjoy your time at the tattoo convention. The tattoos that you have got must be lovely. I hope that the 3 and a half hour drive there will not be too tiring. I like going to an vegan event in Bristol and it is around 20 miles away. This year I won't be able to go as I will be overseas at that time of the year. I might go to the vegan event in Brighton in March. It is much further away. I will have to decide soon.

are you a vegan? that's fascinating. what exactly is the difference between a vegan and a vegetarian? does it involve eating raw foods, or is that something else again?

Hi, there! It's been awhile.
In case you haven't heard, I'm in Bangkok. You know that I love tattoos as well. I'm dying to try out the traditional thai tattoo method where they use a bamboo. A Chinese friend told me it doesn't hurt as much as the machine does.
Glad you could go to that convention. We have that convention regularly in the Philippines too, but I missed one last year because we were too busy.

I do not have a tattoo but I have been wanting to have one for long. The only problem is, I do not exactly know what I want. I am the kind of person who changes her mind pretty often. I have tried henna tats a couple of times just to check and see if that is what I do want to have tattooed on me. But still, I can't make up my mind. My husband have like 9 of them. He is open for me getting one. Soon as I made up my mind, that is.

i think you should get a line from your favourite song. or a song that was played at your wedding. that way it would mean something and wouldn't be something that you get sick of, because its of yours and your husbands wedding :)
