Hi there guys, it's almost lunch time here and I am peeling green mangoes now and I like it with chili shrimp paste. My mom cooked the shrimp paste for me and it really goes well with green mangoes. Now mangoes are in season here in our country and I love eating green and yellow mangoes. Here we also make mango salsa it's a mixed recipe of green mangoes, onions, tomatoes, pinch of pepper and salt then you if you want you can add some red chili for a little bit of kick for your salsa. We usually make this for grilled fish dip, so yummy! Well happy eating everyone I have to make my salsa for lunch!

Well we have many mangoes here now since it's the season for mangoes and yeah its very delicious and tasty. The green mangoes with shrimp paste is my favorite. Hmm I think shrimp paste is not available at supermarkets outside Philippines or maybe it's expensive in your place since it is exported from here. You must try green mangoes with shrimp paste. So yum yum...

Awesome, green mangoes are my favorite. Their hitting sour taste just leaves my mouth watering. Even i love Green mangoes salsa. We make by grating the green mangoes and tempering them with mustard, curry leaves, turmeric, chilies, aesefotida, and salt and sugar, it goes so well with all the Indian lunch and dinner.

I miss the Philippine mango and shrimp paste. There are mangoes here in Bangkok but they're not as delicious as the ones from the Philippines. I love the shrimp paste here in Bkk though because they're spicy.

OMG OMG OMG! I sooo miss green mangoes with shrimp paste! We do not have that here where I live now. And I think they do not allow shrimp paste to be taken through the airport. And even if I did manage to find one, nothing beats my mom's home cooked shrimp paste with some pork bits.

Hi,
I do like your preparation but I have refrained from eating green mangoes a long time ago when my enamels cant deal with the strong acid anymore. I prefer mangoes fully ripe, reddish-yellow and the sour taste is gone replaced by that sweetish tang of it.

Hi deine, yes I know the taste of green mangoes and shrimp paste. It is a tasty sour soup and curry. But in Bangladesh, we mango trees are yet to get green mangoes. It is still in the buds. In my country, there are a lot of mango trees. We enjoy ripe mangoes and green mangoes as well.
I was there in DR Congo for UN Mission and I also traveled Uganda, as well. I have seen a lot of mango trees there but people do not eat mangoes and papayas. They told that mangoes and papayas are the foods of birds. Have a very nice day.
